I just found your show after the whole escapist thing and am loving all this backlog that I missed. One negative that I do have is your image from 1:35 is clearly taken from the First World War not the Second, this threw me off for a bit and I had to rewatch that part.

Another good show, though I'm rather tired of the zombie wave that is going on now. I think it just needs to 'die' again for awhile. There can be too much of a good thing.... or, as the case is, too much of a disease infested rotting corpse trying to eat you.

And I do like Zombies and love Romero's classic, Dawn of the Dead (and of course the fun of Shaun of the Dead). I even watch Walking Dead.... and when something is done in a new and interesting way, I'm all for it. But enough with all the zombie movies and games that pretty much all look and feel the same.

Simon Pegg wrote a great article about the zombie genre (http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/nov/04/television-simon-pegg-dead-set) which helped me finally realise what slow zombies are about. They personify the fear of death and remind us of the slow, creeping inevitability of our demise. You can't escape the horde, you can only outrun it for a while before it finally catches up with you. Sure, a couple of lurkers here and there don't seem that scary, but neither does death when you're young and it seems so far away. It's the knowledge that one day, no matter how clever or quick or strong you are, you can never escape your grave (pun intended!) fate. That's what's so frightening, and people who say that slow zombies aren't scary don't get it.
