You think that's great, check out my current soloing build. The only downside is that it's heavily reliant on affliction, and I'm trying to get away from that.
For soloing I use a mix of talismans. My head talisman is tank (HP with phys/mag protection). Then I have on at least two healing talismans, and the rest are for DPS. I have a set that's mostly +crit glyphed (for my DPS and healing) so I use those.

Last I heard TSW was profitable even remaining on subscriptions, but long term staff reductions would be inevitable. They preferred not to go that route, so they changed models.
Two. Are the new hair options available at character creation? Because I need to remake my templar character something fierce, but I don't want to loose it's spot on Arcadia if I just have to deal.
Oh, lastly, is Blades/Chaos still a thing for tanking? I still want to finish off my MA deck, geared in mostly QL 4-5 stuff(With a smattering of some of the ridiculous good QL3 polaris stuff.)
Who has Dragon Cabal invites again? I might be still in it, I can't remember if I joined or not.

You can create a file to have it autojoin, and I suggest it, buuut...

Creating Auto Login
Find your Secret World install directory, this is typically “C:\Program Files\Funcom\The Secret World”.
If you do not already have a scripts directory, create one aka “Scripts”.
Inside the “C:\Program Files\Funcom\The Secret World\Scripts” directory, create two new files: “auto_login” and “auto_teleport” with no extensions.
Edit each file so that it contains the following line:
/chat join PA Wang

Turns out @Triple B is the leader of the Illuminati cabal, shot him a PM to see what his plans are, or if I could get administrative access to the cabal at least.
So question on the cross server/faction grouping. Is this only for dungeons, or can I get supermagically transported from my old server (Leviathan, I think) to Arcadia for general grouping?
Any kind of group so long as it's not PvP. So yes, you can do this for general questing/shenanigans.
I'm definitely enjoying the game so far, though I've been trashed a few times by enemies. The quests are sometimes challenging, and I like the storyline. Very different to play a modern horror game instead of a sword and sorcery MMO. The dungeon run we did was interesting.

Just signed on if anyone wants to do some early-mid Kingsmouth Quests, I'm just starting to check out the NE part across the river and the Morninglight quests.
I had some bad lag for a while earlier tonight. It never really cleared up fully for me, and got me killed a couple times. Hopefully it is not a recurring problem.

Bawgawd, @Maddoc. I didn't even remember I was the leader. >.>
Couple of things:
1) I've gotten a new rig since I played this, so I don't have it installed anymore. 2) I have no idea what my password was. When I figure out how I want to deal with this, I'll let you know.
Edit: Okay, I've recovered my password, now there's the issue of not having the game installed. I feel like I'd have to be out of my mind to download 15 gigs just to log in for 5 seconds and quit a guild...is there another way?

Was looking into it and hoping something could be done from the Chronicle site or something, but there doesn't seem to be any sort of out of game cabal control.
Just did the Investigation mission in Kingsmouth called "Men In Black Coats", and then I got the Illuminati faction mission "Into Darkness" and did that.
So is it true that EA is buying Funcom? Are they gonna shut TSW down? Seems like something they'd do so that their own acquisition doesn't compete with SWTOR.
