You did! Towards the end of the fight with Ur-Draug, you got caught in a blue phase root/nuke and I can only assume Cheston insta-healed you to full before you hit the ground.
Also, there seems to be a new scrapbook-like splash and a new unique ring item for completing Polaris - I'm guessing that's only for first timers. Any details on that, it wasn't in the first time I did all the dungeons.
As for healing, Blood Magic is cool (and a bunch of the animations seem to be you slitting your wrists and flicking blood at friends/enemies), but Fist weapons also have some good stuff. Unfortunately, Fist heals only get interesting once you're in the outer rim of the ability wheel. Blood has the advantage of a builder (Blood Shield) and a consumer (Angelic Aegis) right there in one of the two basic trees on the inner wheel.
If Triple B won't be coming back, maybe we ought to just form another Illuminati Cabal with the new players. :P Also, make everyone officers so we avoid this problem in the future.

Also, wanted to pop in and say I'm really upset with Hell Fallen right now.
We were okay up until the 3 golems. Took us what- almost ten attempts? And when we finally dropped them, what do they give out as loot?

I'm guessing I'm not alone in realizing the gear manager doesn't always change your gear to the match the skills?
Skills almost always change correctly but the gear has a 50% success rate at best.
Also, I need to work on my solo build as I'm still using just the Cage Master deck. I'm doing fine on the Savage Coast atm thanks to the QL3 gear from Polaris but I've been investing all my points into further healer builds. Which would be fine if I formed a party with you guys for quests but I've got night work for the rest of this week.
Stolen unashamedly from that Yokai fellow, with a change in preferred melee builder.
The way it works out is pretty neat. With all the passives it generates penetrations and weakness like don't stop, and the healing is nothing to sneeze at.
I like Forking Paths as a builder simply because it reduces the amount of direct self healing I need to do when I get swarmed by packs of regular, not strictly swarm type, zombies.
Lets see what it looks like in a regular rotation:
Forking Paths is pbaoe, so it applies affliction to everything it hits thanks to Bloodsport, which causes all attacks to apply affliction stacking up to three. This also triggers Dark Potency, which applies a penetration buff every time affliction is applied. Subsequent hits heal self for every afflicted target hit.
Clearing the Path then consumes all blade resources and penetrates everything it hits because it has a 100% chance to penetrate afflicted targets as well as stacking Dark Potency.
At this point Iron Maiden triggers off the penetration and increases penetration chance by 10% for 8 seconds.
12 Gouge also triggers off the penetration and begins to stack weakness up to 30% less damage done by the targets at ten stacks.
Now it's off to the races. Further attacks continue to stack Dark Potency and 12 Gouge to max on target while refreshing Iron Maiden on each penetration.
If I need healing joose, though?
Anima Burst to build resources, triggers Blood Sport, triggers Dark Potency, and triggers Leech Therapy, a group heal that applies if the target is afflicted. Also triggers Healing Sparks, which is a medium hot on defensive target that triggers off bursts.
And finally Shot of Anima every time its off cooldown, which is just made a larger, non leech heal by Increased Dosage.
Its a guddamn thing of beauty to mine eyes, it is.

I'm thinking about shifting my solo build over to Blades/Blood actually, the only problem is I have a lot invested into AR already, and it'll cost me a bunch of SP to change tracks.
Don't worry about changing tracks. When you get into further zones AP and SP will fall like rain. Before I even finished Transylvania I was picking skills not because I'd ever use them, but because they'd net me an outfit.
And not to rain on anyones parade, but please be aware that many of the solo builds people are using are horribly inefficient for Instances at the higher levels. In those you really need to specialize as one role, and not mix and match damage abilities with healing ones or tanking skills. And when you get to the first Instance in Egypt, you get to experience in no uncertain terms that every MMO ever hates melee DPS.
Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.

1) Find your Secret World install directory, this is typically “C:\Program Files\Funcom\The Secret World”.
2) If you do not already have a scripts directory, create one aka “Scripts”.
3) Inside the “C:\Program Files\Funcom\The Secret World\Scripts” directory, create two new files: “auto_login” and “auto_teleport” with no extensions.
4) Edit each file so that it contains the following line:
/chat join PA Wang
5) Rejoice!

So the recent move to totally F2P has finally convinced me 1. to get my arse in gear and finally get registered on this forum after nearly 5 years of lurking and 2. make a no doubt rash impulse buy of the game and load up.
Now just waiting on the final patching on my incredibly slow internets to create a new character. Must confess, this game had always intrigued me when it first came up on the radar (despite the stigma of Funcom/AOC). Guess I am well and truly tired of the endless fantasy clichés that seem to be doing the rounds of late.
I take it Arcadia is still the 'go to' dimension if you have any intention of PvP but it makes absolutely no difference in terms of PvE content?
