Holy fuck, stuck in an elevator (Update: Squeaky wheel gets the grease)

So I left DC PAX pretty happy, good meal, but there was ominous lightening in the distance. Cue 3/4 of a mile in downpour rain, barricades gettinf blown over by ridiculous wind. Still, I make it to my apartment building, and get in the elevator to go up to my 8th floor apartment. Noooope, I'm stuck here now. Slightly claustriphobic

    A gust of wind cut between my apartment building and the one next to it earlier. I looked out the window to check on the ominous darkness that approached out of nowhere, and saw everything that wasn't nailed down swirling around in the air in a circular pattern. The Stuff was a good ten feet off the ground.

    Then I saw a couple large garbage cans knock two sections of a privacy fence off their posts. Followed by a tree being ripped over at the stump. It landed on some old broad's car.

    I went outside to howl at the demon winds for a few minutes and take a picture of it.

    Only nice thing about it all was the temperature dropped from 100 to the low 70s.

    Like, inside an elevator is too risky, people love using those things for some reason

    But all you gotta do is kick out the roof panel and give the lady a hand up
