I really don't know what the @ me think does other than making a name blue. I just didn't like that the second part of your name wasn't blue so I added an underscore.

Ah. I see.
I forgot people actually look at their notifications.
All combo powers damage are based off rank and they all do a set percentage of the opponent's health depending on that rank. Only evolutions that increase their effectiveness directly will impact how strong they are.
However, the way detonators work is that first the damage from the detonator is applied then the damage from its detonation.
So powers like Smash will do more damage to its main target than powers like throw.
So if I want to do maximum damage with a detonation, is it the power that sets up (e.g. reave) or the power that detonates (e.g. throw) that needs to be rank 6, or do both need to be rank 6?

It takes into consideration the rank of both skills so both have to be rank 6.
So, how does armor penetration interact with Warp, anyway?
I believe it is multiplicative.
So, say you're playing on Gold and you're playing an Adept with a pistol with AP rounds on it.
If you have your warp at 90% armor reduction I believe it would first reduce armor by that 50 - 90% = 5.
Then the AP mod would reduce that by 65%, 5 - 65% = ~2
Had my first experience with the escort drone glitching out tonight. We were halfway there and the drone just disappeared. Could still hear it and everything but it was nowhere to be found. We then goofed around for the next 10 minutes killing our infinitely spawning enemies (only wave 6) before growing tired of it, but it was fun for a while. Would've been angry had that been a Wave 10 platinum run though.

Yeah. Like I said, I think ME3's MP would give Bethesada a run for their money in the bug department. And the DLC introduces more bugs than it fixes usually.

both, and obviously take whatever +biotic explosion damage evolutions are available
the damage dealt by the powers themselves is irrelevant to the explosions, although it does still get dealt to the mobs they hit. That's why you'll sometimes set off an explosion but still see them get killed by Throw (or whatever) rather than the explosion.
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
You know, it's pretty easy to max out the Acolyte when you buy two PSPs in a row where you get the Acolyte twice each. Now that that's over with maybe I can start getting some gear.
Just dragged my friend into his first ever MP game. He went in with a BF3 soldier and I went in with a Destroyer with Revenant, Piranha and frags. Warned him beforehand, "I'm going to melt the face off of everything. Just stay back and play it safe." I got a genuine, "what the shit?" from him when I took down the entire first wave in about 20 seconds. Now he's hooked, but it was hilarious when he first encountered a Banshee. "Shitshitshitshitshitshitshitshit!"

Hmm good info. So I assume the +power damage evolutions don't affect the detonation damage?

I just tried the Revenant on a destroyer, and I swear it did nothing but tickle things. I want a Typhoon.
I thought it was pretty great. I wasn't impressed with the +shields evolution at the end of the mode though, I think +damage is definately the way forward.
One last match trying an Indra/Piranha combo. Nope. Lots of spitwads. ONE more PSP, fine, maybe I'll get a Shadow or something, I need a damn Typhoon, I have no idea what I'm goi...
Oh hey Black Widow. Yes, I think I would indeed like to try a Black Widow with a 40% RoF bonus.
No cooldown. Of course.
I think Phase Disruptor would have a much higher DPS than Biotic Slash against the chosen defence-type. The numbers suggest that they're about equal per hit, but you ought to be able to fire two Disruptors in the same timespan as one Slash.
Edit: I think the final classes will be
Hanar Spectre
Elcor Living Tank
Volus Biotic God
Krogan Lord High Researcher
Conrad Verner
and Alliance Indestructible Cripple. Or Good Dog Urz.
Drell Sentinel. Comes with a sniper rifle that induces biotic detonations. Also has Tech Armor, Cluster and Lift Grenades. Goes on frequent mass murder sprees with Asari Justicars.
I'm a little late to the party, but Dark Channel does, 100%, detonate on targets it transfers to. So if you DC someone, then Throw to cause a Biotic Detonation and he dies, the DoT will transfer to another enemy within range, and you can immediately Throw a second time to detonate the other target. @Wyborn and I were cascading detonations with Dark Channel and Shockwave the other week: I'd DC a guy in front, and his Shockwave would cause multiple detonations as it passed through, detonating and killing each person it hit.
I don't think you need more than a single N7 Fury on a team, to be honest. The DC effect is awesome, but it doesn't gain any kind of enhanced detonation evolution. So you may be able to get multiple explosions off at times, but none of them are as powerful as your standard Warp + Throw detonations.
I think an N7 Fury (For DC), a Human Adept (For Warp and Shockwave), either an Asari or Drell Adept (for Area Reave spam), and any other biotic-user would really be ideal. Human Vanguard would be pretty bad ass, especially one who dropped Fitness and picked up Shockwave. Cerberus Vanguards are pretty nasty for this, too.
My ME2 Sentinel playthrough is going super well! I am never without shields. On the off chance the enemy actually depletes my Tech Armor, they all get knocked on their asses. I also instantly get half my shields back... and I can re-activate Tech Armor almost instantly. I chose Dominate as my bonus power. Dominate is awesome, Dominating the Heavy who's behind all the other mooks is so great. I was playing Thane's recruitment mission last night, and I got to the windy walkway at the top of the towers with the two rocket drones. I dominated a guy in the middle of a group of four guys towards the end of the walkway and the rocket drones targeted him... bodies everywhere!
Now I have this fevered dream of my Sentinel when I get to ME3. Tech Armor + nothing but shotguns!
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

No no no, you wait till your half shields are drained before popping tech armor.
That way you get almost twice the time out of cover stomping faces. It's great!
I have more successes at Silver recently, but not reliably without the Battlemaster. Think I'll just stay with that for a while, see what else I can find.
I remember my Sentinel duel against the prison-warden. I was standing right there in the open, so the warp-armour broke, then the emergency-shields, then he started messing up the health-bar.

I had no idea Dominate was even a power. I had to look it up after reading your post. I'll have to do a playthrough where I pick Morinth, but even my Renegade Shepard was never that Renegade.
"What's that, you specced some of the new characters wrong and would like to respec? Here, have some ammo powers, gear items and appearance options!"
Why is there still no respec card pack? I always hear people about "respeccing a couple of times, but none of the builds was as effecient as X", that must mean they get respec cards at least somewhat frequent. But then there's people like me who get literally one respec card out of ten premium spectre packs -.-
Time for another round of promoting, leveling up is just soooo much fun...

Before they put the cap in I had about 15. I'm down to 12 now. The current cap is 3. So... the pack would be useless for most people. I wonder if they'll either remove or increase the maximum number of respec cards in the future. Maybe if more people request then it'll be a possibility.

XBL : lJesse Custerl | MWO: Jesse Custer | Best vid ever. | 2nd best vid ever.
just a pug game where everyone worked together
half a million in XP, everyone topped 100k, AND full extraction on london despite having the middle hack
i'm starting to like london because it's got so much high cover that it really divides the battlefield into clear zones
good for holding the line

Yea. London is my favorite new map. Did you start to bring a flashlight? :P
by taking the damage evolution for Annihilation Field instead of radius
I realized I don't use it for damage
I use it to stagger dudes who get close (y hallo thar, mr hunter)
and to set up constant warpbombs on big guys
but it's dangerous to be so close to them
so I should have taken radius
on another note
anyone gonna be on tonight on PC? I'll be on around 5:30pm Eastern, if someone wants to help me make some goddamn credits
edit: oh hey, my origin name is Endervaped, feel free to add me and invite whenever, always up for a good PA game
Eh, that's probably a super common mistake, I know I fucked that up on my Fury initially too.
