I have some old Magic the Gathering cards from 1995-1997 (3rd edition and Ice age make up the majority), I have been pricing them out and I have some decent cards, but nothing super rare. I have one Dual land that seems to be worth between $100-$200 but most of my cards are worth between $.05 and $.49 with a few that are worth$5-$10, so I am not sitting on a gold mine or anything. I know I could take them all into the local shop and get a fraction of what they are worth, and I am not really interested. I don't expect to get full retail, but I don't want to give someone half my profit for a quick turn around. I am willing to sell them individually or in small lots on e-bay but I am wondering if that is the best place.....any suggestions?

Unless you're willing to sell them individually or in small lots on e-bay, you're going to have exactly the problem you described. Also, anything priced at $2 or less isn't going to be worth selling in anything but bulk.
Sell the cards that are worth something (more than $5) individually, sell the rest in bulk. If you're willing to put some effort in, you can maximize your personal profit by using eBay. If you just want to get rid of them quickly, pull out the ones you know are worth more than $5 and go to a shop. When I played, very few shops were even interested in buying bulk commons.
