[D&D 3.5] Question on Sacred Bonuses.

edited July 2012 in Critical Failures
The rules define a sacred bonus as follows:

A bonus that stems from the power of good. Multiple sacred bonuses on the same character or object do not stack. Only the highest sacred bonus applies..

Is there any reason a deity could not provide a spell or magic item that gave a sacred bonus applied to an ability score?

I have not found any rule that specifically forbids it.

Thanks,

If this a DM fiat thing, then sure, why not. 3.5 is all about the stat boosting after all. Just be aware that depending on the character and the stat this could be a very powerful reward.
