Toaster! Do you play on honc anymore? I don't think I've seen you in some time.
I think I played some Stoneyridge a few weeks back, but overall I've been on way less.
A big part of the reason I started playing highlander (and now 6v6) was that it was getting much harder to find a good public server. You know what I mean? When you play on honc you've got some random players, and you've got your regulars. What's cool is that the regulars know each other. There are friendly rivalries (crash/ebo?), people laugh when funny things happen, it's a community. Anyway, at the time HonC was often unpopulated and when it was there usually weren't many regulars. The two servers I frequented prior to HonC had already died off completely so I wasn't having nearly as much fun playing TF2 as I used to...
Playing on a team has definitely solved that problem for me but now when HonC is populated (which I think is more often now, it seems to have had a resurgence rather than fading away) I don't necessarily want to play because I already have scrims and matches scheduled most nights and there's only so much TF2 one person can take.
edit: Oh, and Crash, I'm sorry for kinda bailing on you w.r.t. the 3-day koth contest... a teammate also had a friend making a map for it and we ended up scrimming on neither map.
edit2: @SirToasty I just focus my eyes on the player I'm fighting, never at my crosshair.

S'ok! Still got a bit left before the actual Highlander contest is over!

It's a shame how the servers died, but I can see why. Even I play tf2 bunches less now, or at least less regularly than I used to. HonC is nice, but since the password is gone it's usually filled with pubs rather than regulars, unless we've set something up.
Gotta be honest, I've occasionally thought about trying to get tf2 to run on my computer again, but then i see another dead ringer spy video and just feel like it's not worth the hassle.

I have no idea what you are talking about. 8->
Edit: Ah piss that didn't work at all. Fuck it close enough.
this entire time I was thinking, "goddamnit this isn't going to be worth the wait"
and then I was wrong!
which was pretty okay
I've only just got back into TF2 and I'm already tired of sniper/spy teams :rotate:
also who's up for some early HONCtimes
i think i have a crush on frank west
also, I'll HONC in about 20 minutes, be prepared to destroy me continuously.
ah, yes
the rare and elusive pinch-neck surprise fish
damn fine detective work I mean pyroing
I mean, I'm apparently already a bad person for using the phlog but, like, default HUD makes me an even worse person.
