I'm pretty slim, and wear my clothes non-ridiculously-baggy unlike most people, so i find it really hard finding decent fitting t-shirts. Most internet t-shirts are out of the question, threadless and the like.
It really fucks me off that some stores or websites accomodate 4XL, but they can't manage a proper actual small fit.

Try out the "I Threadless" t-shirt if you feel like it. It's the first one they printed on their own brand of shirts and they're a lot less "boxy" than the others. Fits really nicely.

T-shirts annoy me.
I can not dry them due to shrinkage. I have tried buying XXL, but apparently clothing companies consider people who wear XXL shirts to be about 300lbs in size. I am not so I swim in them and no amount of shirnking will correct this.
But I wear XL large because I am a giant among men.

America is fat jokes.
A size 12 in the 1950's would probably be a 4 or something now-a-days.
I have to wear a medium and I am very much not fat.

What's up with that?

Yes.
I'm 6'2'', and this is my case as well.
My deepest wish is for sizing consistency across all clothing manufacturers.
