I find it hard to argue that spending your money on things that are against what you believe is an expensively time consuming and nigh-impossible en devour. I believe 'money' speaks to some extent as it is an extension of what we do, but at the same time it's hard to track down every single penny for every purchase. Some of the obvious ones make a notable exception to this - but on the side of fairness I can't possible say "FUCK YOU CHIK-FIL-A" and then go spend my money on a pair of sneakers or something that was probably made by Chinese slave labor or something. I'm sure a large % of our computer parts come from terrible situations. We all know Apples production factories aren't the greatest.....

That being said I respect the rights of each business to handle their money accordingly - as long as they are following inside the laws of people we send to represent to govern those laws.

Of all this, I simply hate the lobby of religious values being forced on people by the advantage of large sums of money. That's the one that gets me. Cry religious freedom and force your views on other people? Horseshit. Let everyone else go to hell, while you ride your self-righteous elevator to heaven. (Might help if you understand your own religion too but that is a whole other basket of worms I won't get into)

Chik-Fil-A has awesome chicken nuggets with that Polynesian sauce? Good shit. Mmmm. Their name also reminds me of Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime.

I'm just naive enough to be shocked that this kind of thing is still an issue. Normally that's really nice, but then shit like this goes down and I have to get all heartbroken. Thank goodness the muppets came down on the right side of it. That makes me feel a bit better.

Yeah, that's about when I stopped eating there. I was kinda surprised that it was just popping up in the media again recently. Last go around, folks seemed pretty resolute to eat there and regret it because it was just so good. I mean, it's pretty much the only fast food I like for its own merits, but it's not that good.

Although, I get a pretty good feeling out of one of those huffington post articles
And let's not forget about J.C. Penney, which has been condemned at least three times this year alone after hiring Ellen DeGeneres as their spokesperson and featuring same-sex couples in Mother's Day and Father's Day catalogs respectively.

Same sex couples in major department store ads was not something I expected to see for another 5 or 10 years. That's awesome!
