Now Anders, there's a romance that's literally lopped off at the end
But fer reels, if you do her missions in the last act she flippin'
kills her entire clan and still doesn't understand why anybody would try to stop the obviously crazy lady from making a deal with an incredibly powerful demon. Or recognizes that the keeper totally and obviously threw herself on the demon grenade to save Merrill from having her soul eaten. She's just like, "So that's how little she liked me, huh? Didn't even trust me to make a bargain with a demon!" Merrill is craa-zeeeee. And then she's just like, "Welp, I may have killed basically everyone I ever knew and don't actually seem to feel that bad about it, but at least I still have YOU" ... Yaaay?
If Shep's dating Garrus, any ending that ain't high score destroy feels wrong. Non-romance, Shep dying is fine. Give 'em hell, and Shep did. But other way, his one request is come back alive. Not doing that? You know it's gonna tear him up and leave him more or less useless.
Well, in the control ending...
There's technically nothing stopping Shep from coming back to say hi. I have this great image with Garrus and everyone at a bar, nervously sipping their drinks, with a skyscraper sized ReaperShep in the back going "What? You said I should have a drink with you guys if I survived!"
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

Also, she doesn't kill everyone else. The entire clan teams to up kill her, and the only reason they don't is because she has Hawke there.
That being said, that whole ending pissed me off so much. I reloated, checked Gamefaqs, and picked the one series of answers that let us walk away without yet another dead elf clan.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.
It's pretty hilarious when the entire clan, including like random old shopkeepers goes after you.
Like, goddamn guys. 2 points for spirit and everything, but I ALREADY killed your elite guards, how do you expect this to go down?

Wow, it took 3 fucking hours to finally get even a partial extraction.
Night of all bads all the time I guess.
So uh...apparently the N7 Engineer is fucking absurdly powerful? Or something? Dude in the last game I was in was just laying waste to everything like it was no thing, and his little pylon just kept him stocked on grenades.
Also I hate N7 Slayers. Their dumb blade thing detonates biotics, but its a weak as shit detonation, so it just totally dicks up my Adept play. And they just get themselves killed constantly.
More than one Vorcha = Easy Reaper kills. It was kind of beautiful, two flamethrowers on one Banshee, we were killing them like they were mid-level mooks. During extraction, I'm pretty sure we turned Brutes into endangered species.
I'm unhappy when I run into randoms with microphones. Everybody thinks they're the only good player.
If you're not with the rest of the group and being overrun, maybe you should cry for help before you're being killed, instead of whining about how nobody teleported through walls across the map to save you.
Bleh, silver match the guy playing a sentinel is a lot better than the rest of us but he just wanders off on his own to kill stuff and pad his score while the other two and I struggle with objectives. We finished it, partial extraction because I took a flamethrower to the face in the last 2 seconds at the landing pad, but it wasn't as much fun as it could have been.
Geth Infiltrators killing things on the other side of the map during objectives, berating the rest for not "pulling their weight" pointswise.
Man...I should go back and play ME2. But I think the lack of a combat roll and the longer recharge times might get to me.
Also...I can't Nova or Heavy Melee.
My ME2 Sentinel melees everything. Those first LOKIs? Walk out in front of you. Nope, elbow; keep walking.
Charging krogan are more fun. AAAAA, yourself.
Though sometimes I use Throw point blank, which is pretty much the human Adept heavy melee.

What? Are you saying there might be a special condition in place to nerf detonations specifically from default Biotic Slash? Because detonations normally only care about rank-numbers and certain rank-upgrades.
Edit: AI-tracking was fun to read.
Wow, husks are really effective sometimes. In any case, Krysae and Hydra Missiles was fun.
A fun thing about the Krysae is that no-scoping in close quarters is super easy and staggers things.
Why does the Geth Pulse Rifle not actually seem to fire all that fast?
Well, no matches today. Losing connection.
Edit: Could Paladin 6/6/6/0/6 actually work as support / 'splosions? Someone had that.
Edit: Could Paladin 6/6/6/0/6 actually work as support / 'splosions? Someone had that.
Next time I respec, I'm going 6/6/6/4/4. Going 0 in N7 Paladin means giving up a lot of potential power damage and weight capacity, when the last two ranks of Shield Mastery aren't all that helpful.
Tried a Paladin without Incinerate, everything else maxed. Wasn't much fun...I don't think snap freeze and Cry shield add/stack, and if they do, it's not noticeable at all. That's about it, what else are you gonna use the shield for? Drawing enemy fire? Just go Salarian Engineer and you're better off.
Snap freeze is a really powerfull ability though, don't underestimate it.

Is it over? I hate how each company has a different idea of "weekend". Valve's is apparently Thursday through Tuesday morning, Infinity Ward is Friday through Monday morning, and BioWare is sometimes Friday through Sunday.

I also hate how people seem to be score padding during objectives, especially hacks, even worse when that person is level 20 already "Hooray you cost us some money at the expense of getting literraly nothing but numbers!" If someone drops outside of an objective area I leave them, they weren't helping the team anyway.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

I think that for every objective except for assassination, you get the maximum reward so long as you finish with 3:30 or more left on the clock. When people don't help with that I get mad as Hell, because those take some serious teamwork, especially the "activate four things" objective

Well activate 4 can be completed solo, as long as your team is causing enough of a distraction away from the objectives and you're an infiltrator. On some maps its harder but doable. But the new escort objective or even the retrieve object one on some maps without team work and rank 10, you're boned.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
There are actually people who think they're padding scores for the team. (You should be grateful he stayed on track while the rest of you were playing with your little ball for some reason.)

I'm rather singleminded about completing objectives, so you just now made me realise that leaving the objective to revive somebody is a thing.
Edit: Escort is easy. You get to move, and kill things. "4 things" is terrifying when you're alone, because there's nothing you can do.
Well, with certain objectives like Hacking or Escorting, sometimes it's prudent to make sure that the entirety of the enemy forces aren't all pouring in on the poorly defensible objective positions at once, so splitting the group up to draw enemy fire is a good idea. It has to be an organized effort, though. You can't just run off on your own and die, either leaving your team down a man, or forcing someone else to risk themselves to pick you up.

The Biotic Blade is bad for shields, but it will actually take off a good 2 bars of armor on a gold atlas, 3 on a Brute, and that's without a biotic trigger. The trick is most people don't know how to use it on cover that will keep you from ballet dancing out to your doom in the open. Their dodge is one of the best moves they have for coping with that, but it's also hard to use it to good effect and put yourself on the opposite side of the cover where the enemy's looking.
That being said, when they do flame out, they tend to do it miles away from the group, so I know what you mean. =/

Escort is less easy when the drone moves into the middle of a group of Primes, Ravagers, and turrets.
But the fair comparison is a group of Primes, Ravagers and Turrets salivating over you as you're sitting with a "4 thing" and can't do anything about them or dodge without starting over.
My agony counter is now up to 8+ million since my last ultra-rare, and probably 2 since I've even picked up a gear mod. What the shit? On the plus side, I now have enough ammo to arm an entire company, and my mattock is up to a 7. I'm tempted to just start saving up for the next DLC (if there is one) at this point.
I hear you there. Finally feel like I'm catching up a bit, but really, I've already got the gear I want and the RNG coughed up a Typhoon II for dicking around with, so I should probably start building a bit of a nest egg with the next release in mind.
Anyway, man do I ever love the Destroyer. Running around on Silver with folks for the hell of it, I'm constantly reminded of this (49 seconds in).

Gear is bizarrely hard to get. I've got X's on everything gold and below now, and yet heaps and heaps of gear to go still.
Although if you're still leveling up stuff like the mattock you'd be better off just buying vet packs.
I suspect he's referring to the fact that many of us latched onto PSPs so hard that our uncommons suffered heavily.
For example, I have all the characters and all rare weapons fully unlocked. I just yesterday had my first uncommon weapon hit X.
Which is why I keep hoping they'll bring back the Prime Veteran Pack. 33,000 for 2 (maybe more) uncommons is a pretty good deal if you're just cleaning up the lower tier stuff.

Anyone wanna try and get some more extractions on the board, I'm hoping on now.
I'm not a fan of the recent change to missiles. I was ued to the wind-up time. Now I end up wasting missiles because my muscle memory tells me I can hone my aim while winding up the shot, but the first missle triggers instantly and misses the best target. Or it doesn't feel like it's winding up, so I pull the trigger again.

Meh. That's something you can get over. I would say the change is a buff if anything.
Justicar has long been one of my favorite classes, but on Platinum I've definitely found myself throwing it up around my allies more than in a good offensive position (even though it's offensive specced). I think this guy has a good point. Going to try this build next time I promote Adept (i.e. tonight).

That's when it's time to drop a missile, like when a group of primes and pyros is camping the pizza delivery location.
