Replacement Game Boy Micro faceplates: Do they exist?

I require your assistance G&T.
Yesterday I purchased a Game Boy Micro, which is something I have wanted to own for a while. (Yay!)
Sadly, it did not come with any spare faceplates and the one that is on has scratches and cracks all over the screen. (Boo!)
I've spent yesterday afternoon and most of today trying to find a replacement, which has ended in crushing defeat. So I turn to you for assistance. Do any of you fine folks know where I can purchase one?
Failing this, is it possible to make my own?
This is slowly driving me insane.

Hilariously, googling "gba faceplates" brings up a thread from here in Nov. 2011 asking the same thing.

Check eBay: there's a ton of them hovering around the 10 dollar mark.

I'm not seeing any. I see a few vinyl skins, but no faceplates.

Maybe these guys might have some? They're always in the exhibitor hall at PAX Prime, and they're local (up here in Seattle).
