I'm sick of Regular Show riding on the coattails of the Adventure Time thread. I love Adventure Time but, dare I say it, Regular Show might be better. It's definitely funnier. Adventure Show has more charm and whimsy, but Regular Show is just balls out crazy.


Mordecai and Rigby

The main guys. Just 2 best friends who got a job at a park. Classic slackers, most every episode centers around them.


Benson

The boss. He's a hard ass who gets driven crazy by Mordecai and Rigby. He threatens to fire them in every episode


Skips

Voiced by Mark Hamill, Skips can fix anything. He seems to be immortal and knows Death personally.


Muscle Man and High Five Ghost

Couple of other park workers. Muscle Man loves to take his shirt off and make "MY MOM" jokes.


Pops

An elderly gentlemen. His father owns the park so he seems to have some level of authority. He is friendly and kind and old fashioned.

it really isn't even worth comparing the two. they're different shows entirely, they only get shoved next to one another because they're two of the best cartoons on the air right now

also the camping episode is the best because mordecai mentions how he went to art school and that blew my mind

I caught an episode of this where they were showing a 3D zombie movie, it was pretty great. If all the episodes are at least that good, this would be one amazing show.

It's a great episode, but when compared to the others I don't love it as much.

It's worth seeing as an artifact after you're familiar with the actual show, it's dramatically different in some areas

Yes, this is a good show and I heartily approve. RS and AT seem to get lumped together a lot because they are lumped together in the timeslots and advertise for each other during their commercial breaks. I dont remember if they both premiered together, but they at least premiered close enough to each other.

I was so terribly wrong.

I remember seeing the debut commercials, and thinking "this is probably going to be the worst show ever."

Then the show debuted, and I watched the first episode on its premiere just to say I did.

I was delightfully shocked.

This show really has no right being as good as it is. But I damn sure won't complain.
