I really like Adventure Time
But I think on a lot of levels Regular Show is better written
Adventure Time just has a lot more minutiae for people on the internet to obsess over
My favorite episode would probably be when Skips arm wrestled Death for Rigby's soul. I love the fact that Death is voiced by Lemmy Kilmister (of Motörhead for those of you with poor taste in music).
i hate to break it to you but that's not him voicing Death

i sort of fell out of watching this show, and indeed all the current good shows (this, adventure time, gravity falls, motorcity, some other one i am forgetting) somehow over the last month

Pretty much this
Also the overly-obsessive nature of AT fans penalizing me for not being into it as them caused a bit of hype aversion for me

What gets me about this show is how it can poke fun at how you were young and naive, and maybe lacking in self awareness. Like one of the first episodes where they find the video arcade with the haunted machine and Mordecai names off some games, "Lemonade stand? Hats For Sale?!"
And then I giggled a little because I thought those games sounded stupid. But then I remember walking into a video arcade when I was young and going, "Frogger? Mister Doo's Castle?!"
I love that the trek to get to the lava pit and past the traps was a mix between The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies, and The Last Crusade. And also Pops wrestling a Polar Bear.

ok I looked at it there are two DVD's with random episodes so if they follow the same pattern as AT then there might be a full season of Regular show sometime this spring
I read somewhere that Thomas is based off a real guy Quintel knew that everyone just made fun of all the time, so I'm guessing his role is going to remain in the background

And then I realized what a great joke that was.
Somehow I had missed this episode until just now. Absolutely amazing. When Death Bear started doing karate I almost lost it.
Dude...it was Death Bear!
Yes.
The ultimate test.

Poor Thomas though, he never gets to be a part of the reindeer games
Sometimes you just gotta take responsibility for your actions.
And you know this how? :P
Don't have cable but i always love them both when i catch em.
AT has a season 1 dvd and then what seems like random episodes collected here and there
It was driving me nuts.
I was more making an allusion to that they introduced this new character and then have barely used him.
I kind of think that was the point of the new guy.
Well he sucks so that's probably why.
I just wanted to make a holiday related jibe
