i'm still waiting to see how useful crush triggers actually are before i start getting too worried about which supers are good and bad in BBCP
I imagine it will entirely come down to what character you are playing. Amane already does a lot of barrier damage, so crush triggers could be very nice for him. Also his supers kind of blow so you want to spend your meter elsewhere. CTs can also be really good in combos, depending on the character. Depends on the animation for the CT too.
I just wish they hadn't put CTs on A+B. We already have barrier block on that combo and counter assault on that combo. We have nothing on A+C. Seems a bit silly to me.

really? i see people get nailed by amane's bionic arm super constantly on reversal
but it's likely that people just aren't used to it yet and when people adjust it won't be as good

Oh, you catch people with it to be sure. It just does 1.5k damage if you are at level 1 drill heat (which are you are likely to be if you are using it to as a wakeup reversal to get out of the corner) and causes your drill to overheat. It does go up to 3.5k damage if you are at level 3 drill and in OD though, which is nice. It's also unsafe on block. So, I think you are right and once people are more used to it that you will see it less. Still quite useful for closing out a match (you can OD cancel into super on a lot of Amane's move to tack on big damage, and who cares if your drill overheats if you have won).
It is also that Amane lacking any "get off me" options other than CA, so having 50 heat for that is really nice.

Yeah. I think people getting hit by Amane's super has a lot to do with it being fast and having a hella lot of invincibility.
Also most people use it when they're trapped in the corner and their opponent can't help but push buttons there.
Yeah, it was devoured by darkness. The red claw one.

On the other hand you dodged Tao's pounce super too many times and blocked most of my Platinum supers.
Some matches I realized I wasn't going to land them and said fuck it and spent all my meter on cancels.
Oh and as for Valk wolf A, it seems to not be a low any more in CP, his new low is the wC move, that tail sweep he does.
I was worried about this nerf at first, but his combos off the wolf C seem to do better damage, and the C in the air gives him some double-overhead nonsense.
GG is finally out on PSN, playing some online games, the netcode is actually pretty damn great. My Order Sol even landed a fully done Sakkai destroy finish and I hadn't practiced it in months. XD

More meter to spend on rapids and counter assaults.
But they nerf that move so much that it probably can't even do that anymore.
i've seen it in BBCP
bullet vs. jin
bullet stands at full screen, uses 214D to heat up
jin responds with full screen ice wave and kills her

Don't do unsafe stuff against people with long range supers that come out quick if they have 50 heat.
Did Hazama's ground super (like the green ring on the ground) always track? Because it does now and comes out right quick.
Haven't seen many connect otherwise unless the person was just caught completely off-guard.
Also, I'm guessing crush triggers don't prorate a lot because a lot of players have taken to using them in combos for some characters.
