Kraut I sent the tunes. I never thought of throwing drag tires on the Alfa GTA but that makes sense. I also messed around with the Bentley some but still couldn't do anything to keep the front tires from over cooking. Even with wider front tires it still seems to be a giant understeer boat.

No, I am not really communist. Yes, it is weird that I use this name.

Speaking as a man who spent years trying to get a whole stable of Bentleys, classes A through R3, into a drivable state, that is all they will ever be. They understeered too much for me. My R3 8c was, at its worst, better in the corners than any of the Bentleys. I tweaked a couple into Cats, which they're fine at, because you don't really need to be competitive to hit things with massive Museums of Natural History, but they will never work in a race environment.
Oh, and I shall be on tonight for those not committing crime, but I won't be on until tonight because my drug of choice, Europa Univeralis IV, is also out today.
cows, I'll take a look tonight. Drag tires are no good above B class. Really C class, there's a few car/track combos that work for B, but above that, the ability to hold cornering speed trumps the PI offset they give you. Essentially, they are good in low classes for lightweight cars so you can pump more power into them, they still suck in the corners, but you can power out and be faster than those around you.
bad day yesterday, so I spent my night setting up and then proceeding to beat up my punching bag. Then a hair cut. Then watched top notch low brow comedy. See you all thursday. I hate nurburgring GP full... so I don't expect much of a performance thursday.
I eagerly await the year in which Fender pieces together the montage of soccer hooliganism that took place late into the night with him, Veevee, Joe and I.
And footage of the thievery that took place by Arctic/Veevee during Cat and Mouse. Road America should have belonged to Red Team, dammit!

I feel like Vee Vee and I were a wonderful Cat'n'Mouse team. Getting that Mazda superlight up to 155 on Road Atlanta was amazing.
P.S. I'm fucking awesome. I re-injured an old finger tendon sheath climbing injury. So my brake trigger finger hurts like hell. It even hurts to type.
...but I'll race through the pain because I'm manly...or something.

Since I equate manliness with stupidity, I fully support this statement!
Payday 2 all week and ive been eating like a fatty fat fat this week so im gonna work out when i get home so nurburg gp with 15 minutes of practice here i come 8-)
Cows, I couldn't do anything to tweak your GTA for tire temps. I actually thought it drove mostly ok out of the gate. Instead of making it heat up the tires faster, I tweaked it so that it handled better all the time. Unfortunately, the car is so light and so stiff, its way too roll over prone I think. I can send you the tune I adjusted, and then the A-class tune I built to compare. Mostly I took your swaybars from ~30 down to F7.5 and R3, and then stiffened the front springs, and dropped the rear springs slightly, a little bit more rear toe in. This made the car more stable through corners and on power, but still very rollover prone. I built one with the V6 swap, no lightweight and no chassis stiffening to try to keep the car down. 366hp and 1700lbs 0_0 but it still rolls over on curbs. I didn't have half a mill to try the bentley.
*shudders* That was... not a good or close match-up. For many reasons, which I think I stated up thread.
Did you mention some sort of weight difference between the cats and mice? I remember you saying there should be ground rules about not having super heavy mice but do you think we should also rule out super heavy cats as well?
Also, your choice in car for the mouse was HILARIOUSLY bad. :P
Edit: I like being able to do heavy cats because it is one of the few excuses for me to drive my ridiculous trucks and vans.

mice no greater than 3500lbs. I agree, I like using hilariously big vehicles. I used a nova that one time, and it proved to be a good middleweight choice.

Oh, I'm all for heavy cats. It was the mice weight which was the problem and the whole cats driving backwards thing, which we discovered on Tuesday is DOUBLE BAD for the team they're on, because the cats count for the final points too, so if one of your cats don't finish you can't actually win if all the other team's cats finish.

I think what we determined on Tuesday was that points didn't make any sense at all. Fender finished first among mice, Vee Vee 1st among cats, and I got 3rd cat. Except the game decided that wasn't true and somehow we got 2nd place. No, I'm not bitter about that amazing race and our getting cheated massively. ;p

It detected your 2xGTR powered Mazda superlight and rightly docked you all the points.

Unfortunately it seems that my internet is breaking tonight. I don't know if Stew actually hit me, and I certainly wouldn't blame him if he did, but I was out at that point, and there was no reason for me to stay on the track. A shame, as I was hoping to finish this season without any DNRs.

No contact from my perspective, ended the race with no damage. I think your car may have flew over my head backwards right before you disconnected though.
Just remember that half the people you meet are below average intelligence.

*nod*
Yeah, going into that corner I got rear-ended hard and spun into the wall. I could have kept going, but if I did well at all I would have been a menace to everyone else on the track. That wasn't a worthwhile outcome.

You missed Joe rolling the TVR and then putting his controller down while not leaving the race.
He was in the middle of the racing line for about 12 laps.

Aww, I could have stalled beside him and blocked it entirely ...
Well I accomplished my goal of not ramming into the back of Vee Vee and the instead slightly rammed into the back of Kraut on the 3rd or 4th lap.
I'm just going to pretend Kraut lagged into me...yes...thats it.
>_>
<_<
Edit: I forgot to mention that in that Cat and Mouse video I posted up there I got stuck on my side and it refused to let me roll over. I had to have someone come knock me back onto my wheels.
It also seems mind boggling that the AI mouse doesn't know how to right itself. That seems like a horrible bug on the part of turn 10.

Headset died. I listened to, and watched the entire rest of the race. Glad you all have such a high opinion of me...
So did you have temporary defness everytime we said you were in the fucking racing line? Everytime I think we're being a bunch of children with the Joe hate you go and say or do something like this.

Yeah, if you just wanted to watch the race you could have quit and come back to spectate. Sitting in the racing line, with us telling you that you were in our line, is just grade A asshole.
I liked it better thinking you set the controller down and walked away.

Perhaps I can interest you in my meager selection of pins?
Eh, we'll see if we have enough to do something at the usual start time. If we don't, we don't.
