I am a saaaad panda.
We've seen this group of noble voyagers
go through a shitload of of crap. That's a lot. Over 10 Years, we've seen Teal'c grow hair, Jack get promoted three times to the top of the line, Daniel die god knows how many times (4 at last count) and come back better than ever, and Sam finally gets some hot deep-dicking and potentially (?) getting together with Jack behind the scenes.
We all kind of ignored that one season where that new guy whose name nobody can remember came on, didn't we? We saw them topple the Goa'uld,
the semi-ascended super-powerful Anubis,
the Replicators,
not to mention the entire first wave of Ori battlecruisers (ok, yeah, they got their asses kicked at first, but they got them back).
We've lost people we loved, we've gained people whom we've come to love. We've gained an entirely new series in an entirely new galaxy.
We've had laughs, we've had tears, we've had wet dreams about Amanda Tapping. But is it all over? HELL NO.
We still got two movies at least, and probably more. It's just the begining.
Here we go baby. Here we go.

Are they worth it? They sort of look dumb.
The show was neat too but I didn't really watch too much of it. But what I saw of it was fun. They didn't really take themselves too seriously, and I liked that.

The 200'th is great, some are OK, but it's basically not worth it. Perhaps if you were bored, and the TV was already tuned to the right channel at the right time.

Maybe the actor just couldn't make it? Plus, if I remember correctly Langara was one of the planets lost to the Ori.
As for season 9 and 10, i've really enjoyed the whole Ori story arc. It was an interesting concept with some interesting characters and I really wish they were given one more season to wrap up that storyline, but 10 seasons for a show is something that rarely happens these days, so I'm glad that it has lasted this long. Besides there are still the 2 (and maybe more..) direct to dvd movies that they are making, so that will satisfy my need for SG-1. Also there's Atlantis which has grown into its own now with some interesting storylines and especially with the addition of:
So yeah I'll miss Stargate, but there will still be plenty of Sci-Fi to keep me entertained (such as the return of Babylon 5......Ownage).
I mean it's the end of the last season and they don't have anything better than 3 filler episodes that deal with new stupid characters?
And they never even showed if
Atlantis season 2 and 3 where better then SG1 9 and 10 by far.

And I remember like, a season finale where they got to a world and it seemed like their real home, so Jerry O'Connell went to his front gate and opened it, but it didn't squeak when it opened, and at his real home, the gate had always squeaked for years, so they slid out, and then his mom came out and was like, "I can't after all this time I finally sprayed some oil in that gate hinge."

AH, well you see skyONE over in the UK has always gotten their stargate episodes a couple weeks earlier. Plus over here we have sweeps coming up for ratings so that likely plays some role in it all.
Plus they for a long time now the used to split the stargate season in half.
I was getting all these episodes, until they messed up the order... now i need to watch them in real time in the US in April.
GOOD. Now Amanda Tapping can do some real movies & show things, rather then make her whole career SG-1.
