FF6 had a massive amount of fleshed out, interestesting chracters and an incredibly epic storyline full of drama and excitement.

Basically it was pretty much the most awesome thing ever.

It did do a surprisingly good job of making all the characters have story despite having so many.

Geek, I'm only comparing villains here. FF8 was a good game. I hate when people speak in absolutes. I say, give a game credit where it deserves it.

by fleshed out characters you mean that yeti and that that guy that lived in the wild and a cat with batwings and a ninja that had a friend that died

and what I'm getting at was that a 5 minute scene for all but 4-5 characters is not character development

Pip you have no right to talk because you like Chrono Cross

Don't get me wrong, I love Chrono Cross, my username should give that away

But it is far from having great character development.

That's what you get for playing the lame PS1 port

Also Pip, the important ones in FF6 were developed enough too.

Mog and Umaro were secret characters, and Gau you really didn't have to get either.

    FF3/6

One of the few to have a full version US release.

I still have the original packaging and liner notes, in pretty good condition.

    200px-Final_Fantasy_III-_Kefka's_Domain_Cover.jpg

I am also proud to say that not a single game soundtrack I own is a dirty, dirty bootleg from companies like Ever Anime or Son May.

Those are definitely solid gold soundtracks. Yeah, I try to buy the official soundtracks, but sometimes, the price is ridiculous or its just impossible to find a copy. So yeah, a few of my game soundtracks are bootlegs. *shame*

I think my sentimental favorite game sountrack is the Xenogears OST and the Xenogears Creid soundtrack. Amazing stuff.

Other games with excellent soundtrack cds I love: Wild Arms, Legend of Legaia, Ridge Racer 4

oh man, I haven't bought a game soundtrack since like high school. I miss those days.

I get my game soundtracks from gamemusic.com and it's not terrible prices. Yeah, some of them are like 35-45 bucks, but when you spread that cost out considering they're usually 3-4 CDs each, it's no more than a normal CD would be.

Plus, they have free shipping on orders over 100 bucks.

And now we wait for someone to call me a plant.

I don't own any soundtracks actually

I don't think I would really want to listen to a whole CD of game music

Except for CC, because it's just really good and most of it pretty soothing stuff.

But like FF6, I mean has good music, but it's SNES music, not really something I want to listen to a whole CD of If it was orchestrated that would be different though
