She just doesn't seem to be naturally able to make it interesting. Even Geoff can have great interviews with lackluster players due to his own personality.
She needs a personality.
So far she only adds the fact that she's a woman. =\
incontrol could have an entertaining conversation with a fence, but he's a rare breed and should be fucking cherished
not joking
I want to see this. Maybe something for the next Child's Play?

Oh totally. And EG knows this as his face is on most everything they do (as opposed to demuslim, that other guy, and that other other guy).
But Rachel is.... missing a lot when it comes to doing the single thing she does.

It is pretty disappointing that we have Tasteless instead of Apollo for these finals games. Tasteless isn't a good caster and I have no idea why he is so popular.
it probably helps that he casts the best games that occur in the world all the time
I think it's more that he casts with Artosis. If he had been paired up with someone else at the start of his SC2 career I doubt he would be anywhere near as popular as he is now.
oh my god my streams just completely crapped out. AUGHHH

also I'm pretty sure the shit about him not playing sc2 was because he mentioned street fighter on stream like 3 times.
and even if he doesn't play... he watches the highest level games in the world while commentating. how could he know nothing about the game? he'd have to be casting in his sleep.

I still remember the HuK game that was casted by Kellymilkies and Tasteless, where they just had no idea how contemporary PvZ worked. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kellymilkies wasn't the weak link.

how could this possibly have happened? what was he saying?
how can he be physically present for the amount of games that he is and not know what is going on? I am gonna look for a vod

or maybe if he hadn't been the first english speaker casting in korea
but none of these people would be as popular as they are if their origins were different.

I honestly don't know how he can constantly cast high level games and still seem so clueless about the game.

I just disagree I guess. I don't really know where else to go. he has not seemed clueless to me, and I have watched hours and hours of his casting in the last 2 weeks with code s just getting started.
Well, Tasteless's greatest asset is being Artosis's best friend, which actually does come across in the casts and counts for something. I think he'd get away with it more if he was more of a play-by-play announcer, but it's actually Artosis who does a lot of the play-by-play work and usually casts the most exciting moments.
The game with Kellymilkies was way back when Tal'Darim first debuted, I think. It may have been one of HuK's first GSL matches (he played really poorly with overly aggressive 3gate pressure, I think) and the zerg was going for baneling drops, which were completely new at the time vP and neither of them noticed.
EDIT: Rachel gets a new camera angle, and her mic dies and she has to sit right in the line of sight again. >.>

stick to valid complaints that don't claim to see into the mind of an individual
Pretty commonly held opinion, but Bumblebee does have trouble keeping his mouth shut sometimes.
I think the 'passion' complaint originated as a nice way to say, "it's pretty obvious you don't play the game."

so in march 2011 a zerg did bane drops vP and he didn't mention that it was new? or that it happened? just so I know what I'm watching for.
