So, is it true that you can no longer grab-kill Pyro's? Someone mentioned that in a Pug match last night, but I was too busy Kroguarding them all to death to take the time to confirm.

Human Adept is just so ridiculous now.
But still made out of tissue paper.
But if I can go an extended period without dying...My God.
Slap Singularity down in a high traffic area and its party time.
I've been getting gold medals for biotic kills and assists like every match.
Unfortunately instead of fixing firebase white, they've tried to make geth so hard that you can't farm them on the map they're easiest on.
Which means when you fight them on a map they're actually decent at, you're gonna be getting your colon aerated.
Bioware's done great at some of these class ideas that're fun as hell to play, but some of their balancing decisions just make me go, "Hey guys, you do remember that the point of game balance is to make it more fun, right?"
Sounds about right - maybe I should try GWG and see what happens.
Oh, also I've been away from ME3 for a few months. Did they ever nerf shadows?
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

They nerfed electric slash so it isn't as spamable. But they buffed shadow strike by making the level 6 fitness evolution work on it correctly.
Excellent

I'm honestly not sure what the big deal about the geth buffs is. I mean okay, pyros aren't grab-able anymore. How often did you actually ever grab a pyro, outside of firebase white?
I mean even on GWG I rarely grab anything but hunters anymore
Eat it You Nasty Pig. on

Yeah, the lack of pyro grabbing definitely makes GWG a bit more challenging, but it's really not a big deal with people paying attention. Just means I make sure to drop an EMP grenade or two on them like I do hunters (and they generally spawn in a way that I can tag 2-3+ at once) so they're weakened by the time they get to the group even without anyone else touching them. Incidental damage will kill most and the few that do get close enough to be a problem often drop to one more grenade, at them or in their vicinity.
Really, it's not the toughness of Geth that makes it 'a thing', but their lack of an ability that flushes people out of cover, and the spawn mechanics for the map.
I know I'm stating the obvious... but that's why it confuses me so much when Bioware makes changes clearly with the intent of making it a little harder, when really they're just treating symptoms rather than the cause. Give a Geth unit grenades and/or make it so that a spawn is possible from behind and it'd pretty much end GWG right there (and of course just move players onto some other __G map once they figured out the next easiest path to credits per hour).
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
Maybe the "environmental hazards" will do a better job of treating some of the symptoms of GWG. For instance at periodic intervals the desks in the console room could open and release a swarm of bees.
It's not that I have anything against people who play GWG. I typically set either the map or the faction when searching for a game anyway. It would just be nice to see some of these Geth buffs rolled back at a certain point. Even when the game was first released I thought they were the toughest opponents if you weren't spec'ed specifically for them.
some of the newer classes absolutely mince them, though (fury says hello, you reaper fucks)
geth are highly dependent on the map in my experience; on small maps with lots of chokes and corners (white, glacier, reactor) they're easy. On more open maps where hunters can flank more easily and primes can bomb you from anywhere (hydra, condor, fucking rio) they're a lot tougher

yea... I can't say that I like playing with a Human Adept in a match because it feels like you're pretty much just feeding the other guy points.
they make things smoother, but still. MEH.
I've pretty much was leading the scoreboard while helping others. It was pretty great.

That's probably what the new geth unit is.
They won't roll back any of the other changes aimed at making GWG harder but just make geth everywhere more annoying and now also they have bombs.

tuesday is soooooo faaaaaaaaar awaaaaaaaay.
The lower hp along with hunters being much slower.
Now I would say they are the hardest and no sync kills is their saving grace.
