It works in dark Anor Londo. In fact, it's best there.
NG+ is the best place for souls anyway. Do the 3 forest people trick over and over again. Think it's like 18k souls for all three with the silver covetous ring on, and takes roughly a minute to complete.
Well co-op all varies depending on where you are in the regular game. I dunno if that extends to NG+. But last I'd heard from my coworker 109 was the unofficial "stop leveling" level for mulitplayer content?

Mostly because it forces you to a specific build, once you get past 150 every build starts to look the same due to diminishing returns on leveling stats
i just found the upside of an SL1 run: invading in parish wearing nothing but a sack and just strong attacking people with my caveman club
you are required to make a video set to either drowning pool or slayer mixed with yakkity sax
My favorite way to spend my red orbs right now is unequipping everything, invading, and then throwing dung pies at the other person.

So, now that I've beaten Anor Londo, I have several weapons that are going pretty well with my strength build. Any advice as to what are good end-game weapons for a strength duder? I'm not opposed to putting an elemental effect on my weapons. I think my strength is currently 34, dex 14
the giant demon machete scales very well with strength, but you need 40 str to wield it one handed and it's going to require some upgrading.
but if you're interested then you can either buy it from Shiva if you're in the forest bros covenant or farm it from the lesser Capra demons in Demon Ruins.

Less then a month and I'll have my brand spanking new windows PC and be playing the shit out of these games.
I thought the Demon Ruins were more tedious than they were bullshit.
Like, I can take on pretty much everything there one at a time. And if I can do that, it's super-easy. It just takes forever to do that.
Whereas in Tomb of Giants, I try to safely pull some dudes and oh, hey, turns out I can't do that and now I have three skeleton beasts and a black knight attacking me.
