Rose does not want to approach Hakan. she wants to keep that fucker out of grab/focus DNC range.
her normal pokes work pretty well but since Hakan has such a strong FA game, she really has to vary it with safe drills and cr.mp or cr.mk to drill. Knowing your spacing to safely drill and keep him wary of FAing is absolutely key.
the other thing is that Cl.mk is a hugely powerful move against Hakan because it is grab invulnerable. on wake up, Hakan is in bad trouble against Rose, since she can start block strings for free at point blank. and of course you want that counter hit to cr.mp xx drill, so when he starts blocking or back dashing you can start punishing him for his timidity.
Her fireballs are largely useless if he is oiled and has meter, but you still want to either poke him from mid-close or get the knockdown and apply pressure.
My Rose isn't great but that Cl.mk makes a lot of trouble for diluvian's Hakan.
i don't understand the complaint that p4a "has a two button dp" like it's a bad thing
there's nothing hard about doing a shoryuken motion in street fighter, it's just an arbitrary entry barrier for new people in this already really insular community currently filled with a lot of awful awful people

And I thought P4A actually looked cool, but I had my suspicions about whether it would gain class mobility and get out of poverty. I've gotta get a working Xbox and sink some time into Marvel. Maybe see how the SFxT patch goes. After that I'll look at picking up another game.
