Posting from Mobile

Every time I get on my iPhone (it's a 4) and try to post a comment, it doesn't work. I've tried clearing my cache and history, and I've tried different places, as well as 3G vs. my wireless and still nothing. All other sites on my phone don't have this problem -- I hit the Post Comment button and it fades out like it's about to load and post, but stops and nothing else happens.

I tried to backtrack and see if anyone else has posted about this and solved it, and if I missed it I apologize!

Not seeing any problem. In fact I just posted this reply from my iPhone 4s. What browser are you using?

I use Safari. It would suck if it's just the browser, I hate downloading excessive apps. I'll try something else though!

It only works if I post using the full site instead of
Mobile. Any one else know what it might be?

Sometimes on my phone I've found that the board will randomly start saving a draft ( I assume since the message pops up a lot) and I can't post until it's finished.

It never finishes.

Or saves the draft when I refresh.

Might just be an issue with the mobil site.

I'm on a Windows phone HTC Radar. Using Internet explorer.

I have had this problem from time to time, though the latest may have been at least over two months ago. I did not come up with any reason why it happened, but I think I noticed the button going grey when the saving draft feature started saving, and sometimes left the post button greyed out after it was done.

Just a theory.

Edit: Oh and then I downloaded iOS Chrome and have had no problems since then.

If this is the spot for mobile suggestions,

Could we make the page number touch targets a little bigger or more spaced out?

I've got fat fingers and the mobile site doesn't do pinch to zoom.

Just saying, Android chrome automatically pops up a mini-window zooming into a selection of links if they are close together and its not sure which one you meant to hit.

iOS Chrome may do it too.

I only have this problem in certain threads. One I've noticed is the Artist corners chat thread. Can never post in it on my iphone in safari.

I have experienced this in dolphin. Touching where the button should be after it disappears seems to bring it back and I can post it then

Also agrees and awesome seems to be completely gone from mobile, that could just be a design choice though

encountered a weird bug posting from opera mobile; once I finish a post and click 'done', it inserts a bunch of bbcode stuff like bold and strike, inserted right infront of my post. it doesn't do anything, it's just weird.

My Android's Chrome app has a built-in micro zoom for accidental monkey knuckling incidents as described above. I recommend it.

This is still a huge hassle for me, can't post in the AC chat thread from Safari from my iPhone. It's just that thread, always that thread. It's not the end of the world, but seeing as I really don't do much browsing from a PC anymore and prettymuch primarily use my phone, it's annoying.

Not a huge deal but just thought you should be aware that it's still goin on

You can't post as the button is greyed out?

It sounds like it's trying to write to the drafts but can't make a connection.

Try deleting your drafts first then next time when you want to post, press refresh then cancel straight away. I find that cancels the draft upload and gives you back your posting button.

Speaking of mobile posting, is there any reason using a data extender like Onavo Extend would cause problems with logging in? Everytime I tried to log in, the page would just refresh without doing anything until I disabled it...
