"It was supposed to be a contrast with all the scripted speeches, because I’m Joe Citizen," concluded Eastwood, a rich and famous, Oscar-winning movie star and director who has also served as mayor, before returning via private jet to the palatial mansion where a reality show about his boyband-managing wife is being filmed, and which he shares with two of the seven children he's fathered with five different women.

I could not care less about where a candidate's buttons are manufactured, seriously
It's like in the recent Olympics, where the Team USA outfits provided by Ralph Lauren were made in China, and patriotic Americans were outraged and begged them to boycott. I couldn't have cared less about that. Ralph Lauren is perfect the way it is, and where outfits or buttons or anything is made is a non-issue.
That is entirely plausible, but that picture looks badly photoshopped. Btw, where are Obama campaign materials being manufactured?
they make a stupendous amount of the official stuff in-house, since they directly employ most of their graphic designers, rather than contracting with design firms.
hm yes, a clip of someone calling bullshit that cuts out their explanation of why it is bullshit
yeah that clip really needs the next few lines, which I imagine are Jon Stewart reminding people how the GOP has been kicking and screaming to make Obama fail for the last 4 years.
also it looks like romney is practically flinching when he says that because he knows it's a lie. chances he becomes a bitter old man like mccain after this election?
I've watched that episode, Jon himself makes good points
Distilling that down to BULL-FUCKING-SHIT is a disservice to that and to healthy discussion

Yeah but BULL-FUCKING-SHIT is a funny youtube clip from a news themed comedy show and isn't doing some grand disservice to romney or the conversation or whatever by not breaking down his BULL-FUCKING-SHIT point by point
Yeah if you want the whole idea you can get the whole idea by watching the whole clip. Stewart doesn't just spout soundbites, he actually explains his accusations.
Someone made that clip because that's a pretty "fuck yeah!" moment, and it's pretty great for what it is.

america used to have the finest button makers in all the land

wow
i didn't read very closely and i didn't question for a second that was an onion article
But, man, if that guy just doesn't cut through all of the bullshit at exactly the right time.
See, I don't think Mitt Romney wishing Obama any kind of success is the type of bullshit that requires explanation.
yeah that clip really needs the next few lines, which I imagine are Jon Stewart reminding people how the GOP has been kicking and screaming to make Obama fail for the last 4 years.
As is it's just angry yelling.

Between Barack and a Hard Place.
but you don't really need any clips for that statement
yes it does
every time you try to make a point it requires explanation
otherwise you are just fellating yourself on how right you are
...
It's hard, sometimes, okay?

it wasn't trying to though
however it did make me laugh, which was the goal of that clip so
and how could we possibly cope if someone made a post that doesn't contribute anything to the conversation in an SE++ thread
