DC Area has once again been struck by a freak storm, fortunately when I'm safe and cozy in my apartment. Tornado warnings in Anne Arundel and PG County, severe thunderstorm warning throughout the beltway (until 5:15 in DC). Stay safe everyone, stay off the road, and stay out of elevators.
There's a tornado warning out for NYC right now, and my roommates got caught in a crazy fucking downpour this morning but I managed to avoid it by being asleep. Pretty high chance of storms tonight too, hoping it doesn't get too intense since my brother will be biking around delivering food.
Saftey tips for tornadoes: obviously try to stay indoors, stay away from windows, get in a cellar or basement if possible, stay on the yellow brick road, and avoid poppy fields.
Best coast is nice and warm and sunny today. Best coast is only in danger of wild fires.
what about catastrophic earthquakes?
I'd take those seldom things over the constant bullshit that is hurricanes, blizzards, nor'easters, heatwaves in the 100s with 90% humidity, cicadas, and whatever natural disaster bullshit happens on a yearly basis on the least coast.

They don't make it outside of LA very often so we're safe.
We're only getting summer now that the kids are back at school.
