Gen 3 was the best for a lot of reasons. It was the first complete and truly balanced game, had the best original Pokemon, and just did everything right.
The first two gens haven't aged well at all. They're an alpha and beta test in retrospect
5 was great but I wanted IVs rescrapped and was inevitably disappointed as such
Especially now that I actually know how EVs and IVs work, Pokemon is not a thing I can personally play because I just can't get over the grinding. It is the absolute worst.

I'm not hating on Muk. I just think gen 1 & 2 Pokemon are just as silly as the rest. Sludge pokemon, eggs pokemon, blackface pokemon...

JOHN: now that i think about it, this movie was always an oddly poignant tale of bromance between cage and cusack. just two bros separated by destiny, waiting to be united.
JOHN: when they finally come together to kick some ass, it is arguably more moving than when he reunites with his wife and daughter!
JOHN: i wonder if i'll think that scene sucks now too? it used to move me to tears, but now i'll probably think it's so lame, i'm almost afraid to watch it. maybe i should try to leave at least SOME memories untainted.
