I knew the Huss man had some serious love for EB and the Mother series, and I was like "OK I guess I can see a little bit of inspiration"
But it was more that it just recently SMAAAAAAAAASH'D me in the face all the similarities between the two.
At least that you could look at M2 as a scratched session that lead to M3; that was a big oh snap moment for me.
And yeah, Kumatora is right behind Faith on my list of best female characters in a game series.
Honestly, it really bothered me through my entire play through of EB how weak Paula was. Even levels ahead of Poo and Jeff, she had a miserable amount of lesser HP, her physical attacks were incredibly weak. I didn't like that she had to be so protected all the time; and that her one strength, psychic powers, was easily overshadowed by Ness and Poo by the end game. Kumatora on the other hand felt much more capable on her own, and with Lucas as the only other PSI user having only one offensive ability, she really had an unmatched power beyond the rest of the group. Also the fact that characters in M3 get to talk more makes them significantly more likable.
Even Boney has more lines than any character from EB.
I don't know why, but I miss the recaps. I've noticed that I've forgotten a detail or two about act six and I guess I don't want to reread Homestuck when we are "so close" to the end.
Well damn, I was running in the Gym when our base got shot at a little bit, and missed an Apache Helicopter completely annihilating some Taliban with Hellfire missles. :c
"So the ill tempered administrative chess piece, who has been imbued with the attributes of a clown, a princess cat, a bird, and a near omnipotent dog, is being chased by the mailwoman chess piece, who has been similarly imbued, around the afterlife, an endless void filled with tentacle monsters, and has taken refuge in a bubble blown by these monsters. Inside this bubble, it takes the shape of places he has been to in his memories, and eventually is confronted by a view filled with all the destruction he has caused in life, including the time he blew up fragments from the chess board planet, the time he exploded the opposing kingdoms of light and dark, and the time he used the blood vessels of death and destruction summoned from his magic ring to destroy our universe, which is a gigantic frog. Also there are some dead main characters lying around."
Homestuck is insane.

I mean like, for a little while, because I'll be celebrating; not because I'll become an alcoholic.
Pretty much the singular moment in which I realized I no longer cared for Tavros, and wanted Vriska to kill him.
