I don't know what it will take, it's just my opinion that she's better than people have tagged her as. I would start playing her myself, but I'm a shit jungler and people seeing me play her would not be inspired to play her themselves.

Have to say is think the difference there is that even though alot of people considered him bad I still reguarly saw AP Ez's and AD Ez's who played him for fun in normals and had good success. The last time I saw Sej was me playing her 2 weeks ago, and other than me I don't think I've seen her since release.
I'm not saying that Sej doesn't have a secret 'ULTRA OP NERF NOW' mode locked away somewhere inside her, I'm just saying that she doesn't feel coherent, and that's why no one plays her.
In a game, where you are to play, and to have fun, Sejuani is not fun to play.
Fun fact; if you search in the store for champion skins, and click on "Sort by: Champions", Sejuani is the only one who appears in the "Miscellaneous" row, and not under their own name.
I can't speak for anybody else who plays her, but "doing no damage" isn't why I find Leona fun
I find Leona fun because her kit feels fluid and it's hilarious to stunlock an entire team with it
Yep, it feels good when you jump someone as Leona and then they absolutely melt from your team piling on. Then you do it to the next closest enemy. My last game was an absolute stomp where I went bottom with a Talon and we just slaughtered their Varus/Cho pairing (Support cho? lol) once we hit level 2. Cooldowns up=CHARGENUKEDEAD.
Oh no, I think it's the same reason we enjoy the champs. I just kinda find it hard to explain why that sort of low damage tank is fun. To me it's more for the comedy of leaping around irritating people with next to no damage (and you know, the end of the teamfight when you're alive trying to DPS dudes.

I shouldn't be able to literally walk from the enemy 1st mid tower back to my own 1st mid tower with her using everything on me and taking only 1/3 health as Ahri.
Any of the other tanky initiators jungle types like Maokai/Naut/Malphite/Amumu actually do damage beyond having CC and init.
It'd be fine if her CC was amazing, but it isn't. Her ult's good, but apart from that she's got a 10% slow on her auto-attacks, and a 75% slow on an 11 second cooldown. Ashe, meanwhile, gets a 35% slow on her auto-attacks, and is dealing a carry's damage whilst she's doing it.
I still think that Sejuani was an attempt to make a Shyvana/Leona hybrid, where they accidentally left out the useful parts of both of them.
Had a really weird kill on Ez in that game. I did Q + Power Chord Q AA on him, which took him down to maybe 10 hp or so. Varus did his max-range Q, he died while out of vision... and I got the kill.
Might have been a caster creep projectile catching up with him and getting the killing blow, giving me the kill.
Sejuani isn't as bad as people say she is, but she's still pretty bad. Volibear isn't bad at all IMO, I'm not sure why people diss him so much. His abilities are remarkably boring, though.
I cannot fucking believe people sometimes. I only had 45 minutes or so to play, I'm playing Cho'Gath with Olaf and Annie on TT against MF, Teemo, and Darius. Enemy Darius takes 10 minutes to load and then never connects. So we're stomping, obviously, and at about 18 minutes Annie is fighting Miss Fortune mid, and she's low health so Olaf comes in an Reckless Swings for the kill. Annie says "ks I'm leaving" and disconnects. Olaf and I can't push anything down by ourselves because we were building tanky, and then Darius reconnects. By then, I have to go because this has dragged on so long instead of ending it at 20 like we should have, and we lose a sure win for absolutely nothing. What the hell is wrong with people?
We did pretty good, considering poor Kabitzy had internet issues for the late game And she accidentally hard-random'd Diana. (I had to trade Sona to her, and destroyed people with Diana. Aww yeah. Feels good man.
You know what grinds my gears? That special forces Gangplank does not have a bolo knife. He has a kukri. Bolo knives have no curve

Especially funny against Kassadin and Morgana, who are normally what you'd think of as counters to most AP mids... yet are horribly vulnerable to ADs. Especially Kassadin.

Goes in, ults/uses important skill, takes a bunch of damage while not really doing anything else, and just trololols away due to dash/runfast.
This isn't really a great contribution to the team for the most part.
