I was busy shooting stuff and didn't notice the extra loot drops. It's good to know though

I really like the guys with the slot machines on their backs. I may or may not have been downed a few times because I had to play the slots in the middle of a firefight

I will go and do a round of missions and get back to Sanctuary, do a circuit of the vending machines and then blow the rest on the slots. My highest character is only like 24 or so, but I'm pretty sure the maximum I've had in my wallet at any one time is about $30k

Thing I like about this game is the hinting at all the stuff going on in the background: galactic civilization, no mention of alien life anywhere but pandora (not counting beasts), the only being 6 Sirens (who, so far as I can tell, are more

sisters in spirit than blood

). That kind of thing.

Not sure I'd ever want them to make a game off of Pandora, though.

Not sure how it would work but the setting is interesting enough.

Though I don't think you'd get as much of the crazy redneck vibe you get from Pandora.

Reminds me, I really kinda feel like I should finish BL1. I left off somewhere in the Zed or moxxi dlc, I think.

Never got around to the other ones. Every now and then I get pangs of missed storyline.

Handsome Jack's VA acted his ass of for that part, Lillith being used was obvious, but I didn't see Roland's death coming, poor guy.

The quest where you break the news to his friends was pretty sad, I'm glad they played it straight.

actually I expected all four of the original vault hunters to get capped

I thought Roland would come back just in time to help you beat Jack, at which point he and Lilith would have to sacrifice themselves somehow

I did not expect Brick and Mordecai to survive

Those damn slots. I got three bandit heads for the first time yesterday. I tried to pick the thing up that it spat out, thinking it's loot to sell. Realized too late it was a live grenade.

don't really care about Sal or Maya

but Axton (being a military man) trying to maybe fill in Roland's role and not doing so well, and Zer0 going around looking for meaning by killing lots of people

i think they could make an interesting plot thread out of maya's reason for being on pandora

the whole reason she was there was to find out why sirens exist, where they come from, et cetera

she never finds anything like that during your quest, so her entire motivation is unfulfilled
