like the whole DLC is about rebuilding the factory and then as soon as it's operational and all the claptraps start coming off the assembly line you immediately realize what a terrible idea it was
Thing I like about this game is the hinting at all the stuff going on in the background: galactic civilization, no mention of alien life anywhere but pandora (not counting beasts), the only being 6 Sirens (who, so far as I can tell, are more
sisters in spirit than blood
). That kind of thing.
Not sure I'd ever want them to make a game off of Pandora, though.
Atlas found a vault pre borderlands which jumpstarted the exploration of other worlds.
Pandora was thought to just be a mineral rich planet until Tannins proved otherwise.
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

and then you have to destroy it again
Claptrap destroys it and all the new claptraps in a fit of realisation at no longer being unique.
Followed by a further realisation of what he just did.

It's really annoying when you go from a headshot killing or almost killing most enemies to needing two or three headshots to bring something down and oh look in the time you did that 4 other Bonerfarts got in your face.

I find it incredibly heartening that I've beaten the single player and gotten to level 35 and I still am hearing about weapon and grenade types that I had no idea existed.

This sort of happened to me last night at lvl 20. Spent most of my night killing Badass Pyro Threshers and a Constructor that the game dropped on my head in Highlands.
Good thing I tote a Vladof Sniper, because it was basically just a Browning for the night.
I don't really want to complain about it, but it just isn't my usual style of play to long range machine gun things.
Just felt good to back back in Pandora after a week of no computer.

COINCIDENCE???!???!?
Yeah I noticed that too
Prooobably not a coincidence
I've punched a few heads clean off with Salvador, late in the game.
Did Gearbox ever confirm if Steele was a Siren? Or was she just another tattooed soldier?
she was just a tattooed soldier, iirc
her design was originally supposed to be Lilith's, but they presumably changed that when they overhauled the art style

I'm level 27, the enemies are level 27
I've gone from 50k to 19k, all lost in deaths

There's an Eridian altar/podium thing in Thousand Cuts under the bandit hideouts
that's with the first-bullet damage bonus, a 20% damage relic, a 20% damage class mod, and a level 27 sniper rifle
Just got one with caustic damage tacked on. Kills Badass Loaders in two clips.
then the next run got a pitchfork AND a flakker

If I've gotten up to King Slab, how far into the game am I?
You're really far into the game. Three quarters, probably?

I wish to lay waste to the world.
