Considering the style of both images are vitrually the same its forgivable to think that what was posted was the real image. Even though the real image is 87 Bizillionar more awesome than the sample The Spaniard posted.

Yes, it can be subjective, but most people would agree not being able to check the thread for general info on sales, DLC, release dates, talk about Borderlands 1 etc etc is more of a hassle than just throwing tags around something.
If you do want to be 100% surprised avoiding the thread is probably a good idea, but maybe you want to talk about skill trees and not know in-game content otherwise or something. Everyone wins with spoiler tags!

I know I'm far from the only one doing this, but my GMG code is here, and the pre-loading is now commencing.
Now, to bum-rush a store on Monday or Tuesday and buy soooooo much caffeine that I won't be able to see straight by the time I'm halfway done with it. I wonder if that little hole in the wall gas station down the road still has Jolt! and Jolt: White Lightning! I can relive my phone phreaking youth whilst shooting mans.
And come unlocky time, if anyone needs a Maya or Zer0, Steam ID is the same as forum name and I'm in WWB as well.

I'd imagine that singular gameplay screenshots that show one or two enemies at a time are far more acceptable than a giant image that has a parade of every single enemy you'll see over dozens of hours of playing a game, all at once, ruining any and all surprises.

If you encounter a hole in the wall at a gas station I suggest you stay away from it.
So, are specific weapon proficiencies out? I hope so - I'd like to able to use any sweet gun I find, rather than only searching for those 2 or so categories for which I've built up my skills, which I tended to do in BL1. ("Wow. That's a sweet SMG, but this is a pistol Mordecai build, so no ty.") I'm weird like that.
Here's my Axton. Pitchford confirmed (IGN skill tree walkthrough) that Double Up will double the rocket pods. That's 44 rockets. All I need is 7 more skill points from future DLC to also get Gemini - that's 88 rockets every 30 seconds or so. That's my dream.

Either way the spoiler thing isn't even something that is up for discussion on these here forums. Yes, everyone has different levels of what they think is a spoiler; that's why you spoiler pretty much everything, at least for the first few months of a games release. Obviously BL2 isn't going to have the intense and overarching story of a trilogy like ME3 and thus won't have the emotional response to having something spoiled that would; but it doesn't matter.
It's just a bit of fucking courtesy, and it goes a long way.
