Liiya, here is some good quick work food where I live:
A quick salad with some balsamic to drizzle over it.
Yogurt
A baguette with some nice ham and a decent cheese (brie, soft swiss, etc.) and maybe a sliced tomato
Baked alaska with a cheese souffle and coq al vin
That is completely different than putting peanut butter on a hamburger. I don't think it would work texturally at all and I will not open my closed mind, thank you. Good day sir.
I have had good chili both with and without beans.
I have seen a spoonful of peanut butter as an ingredient in chili to smooth the flavor.
Seriously, there are as many ways to make chili as there are people in the world.
AND MY WAY IS THE CORRECT WAY
My dad has ways dipped peanut butter sandwiches in chili, I always passed it off as a weird thing that just he did. But then I went to a chili house on the Purdue campus that offered them as a side and now I'm wondering if this isn't a great idea.
A big burger with bacon, peanut butter and fried banananananas
so good
+2

Is it possible to be food racist? I just had lunch with someone at a Pho place and they ordered teriyaki chicken breast and a side salad. I kind of mocked their choice, stating "If a place is named Pho #1, and you don't order Pho #1, you probably ordered wrong." They called me a food racist.
If you are wary about the peanut butter burger and find yourself near West Lafyatte Indiana, check out XXX. they have an amazing pb burger and they make their own root beer
Did they choose the place? Cause maybe they don't like pho.
edit: I generally think it's not great to get on people's back about what they order when they're eating out. People have reasons.
No, a mutual friend chose the place. My friend is pretty much the least adventurous eater ever, and deserves to get shit for this. Think pepperoni pizza 5 nights a week.

Well yeah, I can see that level of pickiness being eye-rolling. But if he didn't pick the place then it's not really a "Oh you came to Pho but not for the pho?!??!" situation. More "You came out to lunch with friends and got something you thought you'd probably like."
Some people just seem to be more concerned with the risk of trying something they won't like than they are with the possibility of discovering something they will like. I don't get it, but it's cool mang.

I had no idea it was even a thing. Hence my comment.
Also, didn't know about the peanut butter and hamburger thing either. Keep you eye rolls in check, old man.

Never had satay beef?
Peanut butter and beef go incredibly well. Some crispy bean shoots instead of lettuce, some roasted peppers, maybe a little mayo
man that is a kingly burger.

Sadly I can never find anyone who shares in my love for this delicious treat, and as such end up eating too much pizza when it is available
having been to that chili place. Yes. It is

and not in the fun, sexy way. In the lynch-mob hurty way.
Beat them.
It's the only way they'll learn.
I have to try to teach
And you know what
It's going to have an egg on it
Because
there are hamburgers that don't have egg on them?
next you're going to be telling me some come without beetroot ...
Seriously Wendy's you're trying too hard to be different
Sounds like you'd appreciate this.
What should I do with them.
We usually just season salt and broil them, but that's kind of boring.
and I had some assorted nigiri and maki and gyoza
but the girl at the table next door got bibimbap and my plate envy was overwhelming. I'll probably go get it on monday.

yep
I appreciate it
Fairly certain they weren't talking about food when they said that, but hey, it applies.
As someone who enjoys sushi, I understood very few nouns in this post
