URLs broken in signatures?

When I attempt to keep both my Steam sig in my sig and a link to my blog, the URL is broken in that it has the the forum's URL in it as well. The text box when editing your signature says you can use Smart HTML but it doesn't seem like I can.

I don't know what Smart HTML is, but I think you need to put the full URL in all links in these forums (as in, include the http:// and everything else), otherwise it does that weird thing where the thread URL becomes part of the whole URL. I don't know why and it's something I think they said would not be changing anytime soon. Have you tried that?
