Do any of the task managers or to do lists people use on iOS integrate with calendar? I'm using Task and I like it a lot but some stuff I'd like in there
OmniFocus does it. It can display both your current calendar stuff, and you subscribe to a 'OmniFocus Calendar' that only displays tasks that have had a Due Date assigned to them

From what I remember about the headlines when the Nexus 7 came out, it was what happened when people started getting serious about making Android tablets.
Gimme some good free Android apps. I am not getting paid apps til I find a job.
This is just me going through my phone and choosing the apps I use the most, so I hope it's helpful:
--AlarmDroid
--Astrid Tasks & To-do List
--If you have a CVS ExtraCare card, their app lets you have it on your phone so they can scan that instead of a physical card, which is pretty handy.
--Dropbox
--SleepBot Tracker
--I've found DoubleTwist useful for syncing my iTunes music to my phone, but it only works with Macs.
--I don't know what the limitations are for SwiftKey 3 Free, but I have the full version and it's awesome. So maybe the free version is also awesome? (Apparently the paid version is on sale right now, if you do decide to get a paid app and/or find a job right away.)
Well, I took a look at their site, and I only saw a Mac version of the desktop software, but it just occurred to me that they were probably detecting my OS and directing me to the appropriate version.
I have the option of receiving a nexus 7 tablet as a gift in the vague but not too far away future
I know absolutely nothing about this whole tablet scene, is a nexus 7 a good thing to have
It is a pretty excellent tablet, especially for the price. It has excellent specs and build quality for something that costs ~$200. I'd much rather have it over the $130 more expensive iPad mini. If you're getting it for free, you will deficinitely not be disappointed and I'm sure you'll find yourself using it a lot.
The only thing it's not the best at is viewing big PDFs, but it's not like it's totally unusable or anything. That type of stuff just benefits from a bigger screen.

I used to use TuneSync to sync my iTunes playlists to my HTC OneX but for some reason I think it wasn't able to see what it had copied over so it ended up filling up the memory with 2 or 3 copies of the same files. I stopped using that and started just using HTC Sync which comes with the phone and that actually does a much-better job of keeping my playlists up-to-date, though it does it through the cable instead of wifi like TuneSync did.

i must say that doit.im app is pretty good tho for my purposes @smart hero
I will always have a soft spot for WebOS despite what everyone says. I only every played around with a Palm Pre, but I really liked the OS but did not care for the hardware. Someday I'll get around to buying a Pre or a Touchpad if they're cheap enough on eBay.
Well I got the touchpad and never used it. Yeah WebOS was great, but more proof to me that the important part is the support. Android had all the apps I wanted 9at the time). And now it's iOS, for me.

I loved my pre for the short time i had it. It is useless now though. Wanted to use it as a WiFi device so i factory restored it, and it seems to be really hard to set it up without a cell plan

I think they're still around.
Not to be confused with the popular diet-planning app omnivorous

Lemme check to see if Things or Todo can do it first.
