First just did a Squirtle-esque colossus push, but with a third base and double forge behind it and still wrecked Maru. Looks crazy strong, I'm not certain what Maru could have done about it.
If you don't think that PvZ and PvP are stagnant and boring then I don't know what to tell you.
I don't disagree that PvZ end-game is painful, but no, I otherwise enjoy PvZ from a playing and spectating perspective (from both sides). Stagnation confuses me because we have an xpac on the horizon, so I expect things to settle down as blizzard and players begin to transition. Also, stability in a match-up is a good thing --- a new metagame every week is not necessarily good from a spectator's perspective. PvP I enjoy as much as any of the mirror match-ups (which, to say, is least of all, but I'm not adverse to them).

Oh wow, I just read a cool idea for Protoss. Reduce gateway build times or something like that, and then make warpgates increase the build time. Then there is an actual trade-off for being able to warp in units anywhere on the map.

and might create some cool gateway/warpgate micro where you build out of gateways to macro, but then switch to warpgates to reinforce.

Pretty sure I suggested this back in GSL open season one, as well.
But people were all "but you have to research it and it's cybercore tech! that's why it's strong!" or something equally as retarded.
This is in a ZvP where he tries to 4 base mass carrier, gets two of his bases shut down because he only has 5 carriers and 3 zealots on the map and then loses to roach/hydra/corruptor because he insists on making carriers off of 2 bases.
Sigh.
