There is a safe zone I found, where you only have to deal with the like 5 bad ass surveyors that spawn in. Its hella frustrating, and when I finished it I was so happy. The reward is a life stealing sniper.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Explain. I thought his action skill damage was based on character level + any melee damage % mod on he has on his gun?
That's not scaling with weapons, only Salvadore's uses the actual weapon. Everybody else has damage based off character level, which is why phase lock/turret only tickles bosses on new game+.

When you shoot from his action skill you get a flat 50% damage bonus, on top of the stacking crit damage bonus he can get on the end of his left most tree that goes as high ranked as 999 I believe, giving you a critical from god.
You are thinking of the meele damage, but the power also modifies bullets fired.

Guess I got my old Imageshack working, Xbox should have a way to upload pictures seriously.
One run near Firehawk netted me this.
Pyro's arent my friends right now with 3 fire weapons though.

The gun damage can get up to 200% and critical damage up to 250% if you don't fire until the last second.

Ah, that's neat!
Yeah its why he can be a shotgun ninja. Its also again a more active power, like waiting till the last second gives you the most out of the bonus, but I think if you go early the cooldown pops earlier.

It does lead to some pretty awesome head shots.
And then even for sniper Zer0's you can easily still take the shield replenish kill skill from the meele tree.

Okay...so question for people who've fought this late-game, non-storyline boss. Its a boss that appears shortly after "Where Angels fear to tread by the way."
How do I avoid the electric missile attack from Dukino's mom? Maybe I'm not moving right but the damn thing seems to come out so fast.
And if she hits me I pretty much have to start over since it puts me into Second Chance in one hit.
I probably could just wait until I level a bit more and do it again, but the thing is she isn't hard...just that when she finally does manage to hit me I'm dead.
Low-level bandits spawned occasionally during that fight for me, it's an easy way to get second wind.
You see my problem is that...I usually get downed after she's killed all the bandits so I'm just sitting there.
I swear...the lack of effective evasive movement in this game somewhat annoys me.
if you take cover behind the button on the elevator none of her attacks will hit you, so... try that.
Just finished it after 25 hours at level 30. I started off doing every single side quest, but stopped once they became 'trivial'. (except for a few that just seemed to cool to pass up). I really liked the game but can't help but feel I've missed out on a lot of awesome guns, I've not had anything really exciting except the reward ones. My rocket launcher that did 15k damage (+15% from a relic) was nice, but nothing flashy at all. Ah well, here's hoping for New game+ or my run throughs with other characters.
I am officially in love with Wild Cat (I think that's the name?) Maya. Flat +30% to all gun damage, an additional +80% to Fire Rate and Damage during Wreck, and a still good amount of healing thanks to Sweet Release and Res.
Add in the Sheriff's Badge and pistols turn into SMGs.
Still need to use an actual SMG since the mod gives +75% SMG damage.
Phaselock-immune enemies completely gimp me, of course, but that much hasn't changed and I do really good damage now.

deception isn't only melee
So does that mean that melee Zer0 is sorta boned at end game? Because I'm loving my melee Zer0. I just found out that you can do the dashing execute as a kind of double jump. I assassinated many a flying varkid last night. Not to mention jumping before executing pretty much guarantees that you'll get a crit on a humanoid target.
I could probably count the number of purple-rarity guns on my hands that I found before I hit 50. I've also found zero orange weapons besides boss drops.
Fuck, finally knocked out the Hyperion arena after deaths costing me probably 35k or more. Ugh. Thank goodness that's over.
Congrats, now the rest of the game should not be as hard for you, though hyperion troops do get god damn launchers and they are just as nasty in their hands.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
I am finding nowhere remotely near the amount of cool guns you cats are getting. Trading this piece of crap in to Gamestop now.
:P
Roll a zero, I swear to god his gun luck is off the fucking charts. Hell the slot machines are nicer to him than my other two, its redonkulus.
I have gotten SO MUCH Eridium out of the slots. Level 21, no co-op played, and I've maxed out backpack/AR/SMG SDUs. Plus bought a bunch of other ones.
So I guess if you want purple bars, go Turret. Her pocket Axton seems to be good luck.

The Infrared Skin for the first car is awesome, its a blue/purple-ish color with pink/red markings that looks like hightech gauges and other shit, wish I could get that for my own car.
Gamble in Coop it's crazy lucrative for all parties, Eridium wins go to everyone. at 17, I've maxed sniper and have 1 or 2 levels for the rest of my guns ammo to go.
Just found another non-functional Maya skill.
"Ward" in the motion tree supposedly grants 5% bonus to your shield capacity per rank, for a total of 25%.
I just equipped a shield with 5808 capacity. Given the bonus, I should have 7260 shields (more actually - I have badass ranks in shield capacity). Instead I have 6542. What the hell? Not exactly a minor discrepancy...
Are there any places with more than two slots? I was commenting to my friend last night that if we ever find a casino with like a row of ten we are utterly ruined.

Have you tried to dash to a buzzard? Just spam melee and laugh, you usually don't catch up to it but you can keep up with it quite well.

Hah. I got an orange shotgun that when you reload you throw it, it flies around shooting guys then hits someone. I only ever throw it after firing a single shot. It is like a mini turret.

Pretty underwhelmed by PT2. Enemy health values are massively jacked up, damage dealt by enemies is massively increased, the weapons I'm finding aren't even as good as the ones shooting me, the shields I'm finding are still following the largely linear upgrade path of PT1 (which means they're enormously weak now, relatively speaking), and I haven't found a worthwhile new artifact or mod in about 20 levels at this point. Plus, it seems like everything with a shield has free auto-resistance to fire or corrosive while the shield is up.
Had one random mook kill me three times because he would kill me so fast with about 4 shots that I couldn't even find him before going down. He wasn't even a badass or anything, just some random bandit with marginally higher health than the other bandits and a gun that cut through my 20k combined health/shields value in less than a second. In one instance, I jumped over a railing with full health, and the guy downed me before I hit the ground. From max shields and health. Kinda bullshit.
Wouldn't mind tougher enemies, but this is just kind of dumb. There's a fairly wide margin between "harder" and "stupid".

Who dropped this? I'm trying to get that shotgun and I can't figure out who it's from.

Does anyone know how you disable the electric fence that guards a red chest inside the Firehawks lair?
Edit: Just found the fuse box, there is alot of hidden chests in this area, 5+ normal loot chests and 3 red chests by my count
Yeah, the nice thing with chests guarded by an electric fence you can track the wires over head and usually find the fuse box.

Follow the wire, if you want more in depth explanation I'll post a spoiler.

Swiss Splatgun that shoots burning mortars and some weird sniper called Auditing Hybridification which shoots ricochet rounds, this game is nuts.

Currently playing: GW2 and TSW
Also, I believe zer0 gets a very large crit modifier from his action skill.

How's that work with the cooldown? Do you just toss two every time you hit the button?

You drop one like normal, and you can set another one down. Cooldown is based off the first one.
