That 3d printer is the first I've seen that is in the consumer price range (still $2500 though) and capable of enough detail to make gaming ready minis. It would be a neat way to make custom bits that's for sure.
But even with all the recent Games Workshop price increases it would not be a way to save money on the hobby. What with the initial investment and the time required to obtain or create the specs to print from even paying MSRP for GW models would still be way cheaper.

I sobbed like a little bitch the first time I watched that movie. And Gmork (nothing wolf) fucked my world up. My dad let me watch shit I never should have watched as a kid. I saw Elm Street movies, Troll, all kinds of shit.

Not to mention small parts for home electronics projects, gears and cogs and other small machine bits for prototyping, etc.
every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.

Oh I loved Falcor. I also loved Hoggle and all the Goblins in Labyrinth, the gelflings, Critters, and pretty much anything weird and creepy looking, but fuck Gmork you hear me, FUCK YOU GMORK

As the technology goes down in price, which is will I see a shift in the gaming and wargamming sales structure from buying models to buying 3D printer templates with limited numbers of uses. You would get piracy no doubt but I know some guys who can make molds and produce GW parts already for cheap so it already exist. But I can see this being a good thing in the long run as you can produce some cool designs and choose what parts you need to make what you want.

Falcor was pretty lovable to me as a kid. Who wouldn't love a talking dog dragon? The swamp scene was horrific and not safe for the sanity of young children.

Games Workshop gonna get pissed.
$2500/printer means they've still got plenty of time before they're very widespread. Hopefully they'll actually figure out what adjustments they need to make to their business model instead of ignoring it and acting surprised when their minis business starts drying up.

How much is the media for 3D printers? I haven't ever seen a price on that.
varies enourmously depending on whether your printer requires a proprietary cartridge and how much waste it produces.
The raw plastics like PVC or PLA are quite cheap though. So it is possible to get printers that will use generic spools or whatever and use it efficiently.
The best/worst use real of animals in a film for me will always be Gladiator.
In the pit fight scene with the tigers you have the close, action special effects'erific shots of the tigers mauling people and lunging at them and being all rawr and shit.
And in all the distant shots you can clearly see a bunch of bored tigers laying on the ground.

hopefully not too much later for blands, I should be going out tonight
Or am I misremembering.

i dont play games involving driving
driving games are terrible
The recentish TV series is on Netflix.
Has there been a game where you are forced to drive on one side of the road?
Grave is more depressing, but no movie has come remotely close to Hachi: A Dog's Tale in terms of making me shoot jets of water out of my eyes.
Games Workshop gonna get pissed.
But... but Saint's Row!
$15 per reality
I think you mean awesome.
For years every single closet door just might have a Sumerian demon dog waiting behind it.

It's kind of like the Lutheran priests who saw the printing press and said, "Think of how many Bibles we can copy!"
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
Until quite recently the wikipedia page about the Hittite pantheon had Gozer listed as one of their gods
Actually they thought more like "damnit now everyone can get their own bible!"

I drive in the middle of the street, sometimes the sidewalk.
It’s not a very important country most of the time
