If any of you had to choose between Psychology or Sociology, which would you take? Or should I go with Geography or Econ? I need to pick one for a semester at a Tech.
The order you listed them in would be my preference, personally...though I agree with Squid that Econ would probably be more useful, but I'd probably want to die every time I'm in class.............and reading through the comments it looks like that's what you ended up going with anyway. Yay!
Finally broke down and took a day off from work yesterday for being ill.
Haven't taken a day off work/school for illness in like 15 years.
I thought when that day finally came it'd be more dramatic and impressive, like a disease really had to be badass as shit to take me and my awesome immune system the fuck down.
Instead I've been brought down by a sore throat and a bunch of congestion.
What an anti-climax this has been.

I went through a manly "only the weak take days off" period for about 10 years.
Then I realised that I never got a medal for it, so I started taking them. However unless I'm crawling around on the ground clawing at hallucinations of minature giraffes and coughing up blood, I still feel guilty about doing it.
Also if you want to see something that is awesome gross, watch this.
I started that, saw the words, "Bot Fly", and stopped it immediately.
I would not like to pull them out of people's backs for a living on the basis that would probably involve having to be within 10000 miles of one of those things.
That is far, far too much risk.
So I'm redoing my website (I BLAME @IRUKA ), and I'm using Divs to structure the layout (rather than tables, which the current layout uses)...and I'm also learning how to code Divs as I'm going.
I'm completely blown away by how perfectly it has been going so far. Like...this is unreal. No alignment errors! No surprise borders! You want to do this thing?? OKAY NO PROBLEM.
I'm experiencing perfect results either the very first time I implement new code, or after a 2 minute google search and a rewrite or two that takes another 30 seconds...
I mean...I'm only checking it in Firefox + Safari right now, but still...everything is turning out exactly as I want, with the absolute minimal amount of hassle.
......I'm probably jinxing it, and when I try to open it in IE the div's will all align to form a wang, or something. Goddamn it, IE!!

I bought myself a mini, table-top easel today. I thought it might help me to finally learn to draw holding the pencil properly and using relaxed, whole arm movements, instead of clutching it like a person desperate to get their will written in the next few moments before death claims them, which is how I usually do it.
I may as well be trying to draw with my left hand. This feels so weeeeeird.

Hey [chat]
Are any of you CSS gurus that can help me with a small site issue?
Edit: Nevermind, figured it out, I need to use position instead of margin
@NightDragon Divs are fun. You'll still hate IE if you want everything to look perfect in older versions but IE 9+ isn't as awful as the rest.
Yeah, generally I try to get my site working in as many of the "typical" browsers as possible...I know there are still HR people (and managers) that might be using an older version of IE, like IE6.....:P ...and so I'm kinda at their mercy at that point. Over the years it looks like fewer and fewer visitors to my site have been using any version of IE, but it's still hovering around the 7-10% mark, so I kinda have to incorporate those hacks/fixes in my code.
I might actually be over Pokemon. I dunno. It was fun a lot of the time, but it's kinda frustrating having to learn a whole new 100-150 or whatever every time a new one comes out...and then the endless grinding to level up if you're not high enough for a certain boss...just...bluuuuuuuugh
Back in my day we only had 151 pokymans. When we caught a Magikarp we were damn grateful. Kids these days don't appreciate all their new fangled pokymans what run on the wifi.

There's a WiFi pokemon, right?
Okay the second I COULD catch a Magikarp, I did, and I WAS really grateful, but not I think in the way that you're implying.
....he evolves into GYRADOS man!! MUTHA-EFFIN HYDRO-FLYIN' GYRADOS
Likewise, though I never actually tried any of it. It all seemed kinda "yoyo-fad" to me, but that is probably because I was a lot older when pokemon first came out.

There's part of me that would love to pull these things out of peoples backs for a living, and another that just wants to be sick.

Now GET BACK TO WORK.

500 of those fucking things
You should have checked in the last 7 years.
There's a WiFi pokemon, right?
"Oh hes a steel type, Ill just bring out my fire pokemon.... aaaaand one hit KO"
Yeah, I know, its actually very complicated, but its also not at all complicated and way too simple.
Okay the second I COULD catch a Magikarp, I did, and I WAS really grateful, but not I think in the way that you're implying.

HELL YEAH I WANT THAT MAGIKARP
Likewise, though I never actually tried any of it. It all seemed kinda "yoyo-fad" to me, but that is probably because I was a lot older when pokemon first came out.
That being said, I own a yoyo.
I got rid of my dA a while ago, but it used to be the same name that I go by here, yes!
