I'm thinking of getting Disgaea 3. Has anyone tried it out on the Vita?
It's an exact port of the PS3 version, with all of the PS3's DLC included.
It's definitely at home on the Vita where RPGs are much better with the pick-up-and-go nature of handhelds, and I would only suggest buying it if you are somehow mortal enemies with the concept of free time.
Guess I'll try it out, it'll feel especially more at home with the PSP versions of 1 and 2 right next to it.
2 is my favorite because you can completely manipulate the demon council such that you essentially have the council in your pocket.
Which is incredibly Ironic because even though that would be in true demon lord fashion, the only game you can actually pull this off in is the one with a human* protagonist.
Wasn't there some policy about PS3 development that a game (in North America) had to ship with an English dub to be able to get released on physical media? Since I vividly recall something about that in regards to Warriors Orochi 3. Is that policy just....not in place for the Vita?
I ask, because I definitely have Muramasa Rebirth on physical media and it is definitely not dubbed.
This also might be a way to further vent my frustration with KOEI.
Haven't played them myself, but all indications are that the first game was not especially noteworthy, but they're steadily improving with each sequel.
Hmmmm will worry about it later. So who else is loving the ever-loving crap out of Muramasa? I feel no great pressing need to return to Hotline Miami and unlock all the masks, but I can't wait to jump back in to Muramasa and get Momohime's 3rd ending, Kisuke's 2nd and 3rd endings and all the swords. This is the first Vita game outside of Guacamelee that I'm like "I'm platinuming this."

I don't if it's my eyes or ( hopefully not ) my Vita but Hotline Miami has a mild stutter when moving around some levels. The strange thing is that as soon as I pause the game it goes away until I die once, then it can either show up again or not.

I hope it's not my Vita / memory card.
Maybe it's just me, but wouldnt you rather have the problem be in a replaceable video game system, instead of your eyes? Call me crazy, but replacing/fixing the vita seems like a much more manageable task.
Thank you, for months of enjoyment Persona 4 Golden. I have no idea if i have any desire to play Persona 3 now, because I just can't imagine spending that much time again on anything for awhile. But my god, that cast, the voice acting, the story, the social links, the personas, the atmosphere, the music - this game will forever be one I am glad I have a hard physical copy of, and I will proudly put it on my shelf forever. A true masterpiece.
That said, I finished it, put on some shoes, walked down to GameStop and just finished the first battle in Persona 4 Arena. I miss these damn kids already, and I love fighters, so I had to continue on.
So far, it's neat...but my god do I hate the mouths moving in cut scenes.

One day when I finish Persona 4 Golden, I might actually go and start Soul Sacrifice :P
I stopped accepting requests when I did that Toro's friend network thing and got bombarded with ones I didnt understand, so if you're from here, just type "PA" anywhere in there and I'll make sure I add you.
But I bought Arena for the 360 since I have fightsticks already for it...

Are they... good? I always kind of ignored them - but then, I ignored Atelier until I tried Totori and liked it.
The first game has very amusing dialog but... well, pretty damn bad gameplay. The second game is pretty damn good/fun. The third I haven't played as it's not out in America yet.

My Vita is a Hotline Miami box right now. I can't stop playing it. The music is awesome, the murder is satisfying, and the doing every level 1000x is surprisingly enjoyable.
Tony all the way. One punching dudes is where it's at.

P4G is so good, and (IMO) so much better than Persona 3 that I can't imagine ever going back to it.
I bought Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands (PSP) because I'm a sucker for that series and it's one I missed out on. I had some money left in my wallet so I snapped up Jumping Flash, one of the first PS1 games I played.
It has not aged well.
I then played Hotline Miami at a friend's house, came home and immediately bought it on the PS3/Vita, can't wait to get stuck in to it now I've finished up Limbo!

That's like, your opinion man.
P3 still has the better story of the two in my opinion. And for all of Golden's great polish, the gameplay additions really do make the game ridiculously breakable when it was already the easiest Persona game. You and your party in Golden are horribly overpowered to the point of ridiculousness if you halfway know what you're doing.

Wait what's this about gameplay changes about Persona 4?
Goddammit I already beat the PS2 version twice I don't need to get re-addicted.
Alright screw all of you. Making me spend money. I'll pick up persona 3 but this better be good, dammit!
FES is best for a first playthrough. Good anime cutscenes not cut out, full-movement, and 20-30 hour The Answer epilogue (which then leads into Persona 4 Arena's story mode which is secretly, despite its name, actually a sequel for P3 way more than P4). P3P is great for an experienced player because FeMC is great, but it's visual novel style outside of Tartarus and doesn't contain The Answer.
P3 is darker than P4, focuses on Faustian psychology over P4's Jungian phychology, and follows the Fool's Journey Reversed through the social links unlike P4's straightforward Fool's Journey. The characters as a composite aren't as good at P4's, but the standouts are pretty standout (Junpei is 20x the bro Yosuke is). It's also much much harder.
Biggest Advice: If you find yourself angry at the AI, it's your own damn fault for not using Tactics. Seriously. Use Tactics.

Hate to say, that automatically puts me off P3 then. I hate relying on AI teammates that I can't control. It's one reason I much prefer turn based JRPGs like P4 than ones where the AI does anything. It just frustrates me no end and I rarely bother with games like that.

I don't have one ;_;
He killed me with that nulify something attack. Bastard.
I've only played one of the PSP games a little, but I don't think this is accurate. The PS Mobile game is a touch screen puzzler.

It's a Neptunia game.
Of course it will.

Why can I get your balls hard skill based trophies no problem
But your cumulative Avatar Use and sit-through-the-credits trophies are locked up tight.
Why Lumines.
You ain't even got a Platinum to give up! I just want that sweet sweet 100% c'maaaawn
(also real talk I love Lumines, y'all should download it or something so I can CRUSH YOUR SCORES like Allforce's hahahahHAHAHAHA)
Add me! I've got top score in my friend list right now and I know it's low.
I hope it's not my Vita / memory card.

But it seriously depressing wondering where my previous PSN friends went. I have zero currently, but I did have like, 10 a while ago.

The third one came out like three months ago, mans.

It's only in P4 and P3P. It's not in the original P3 or P3 FES.
P4 is balanced for direct command. P3 is balanced for AI party members under tactical restrictions/priorities.
