Let's Play: Half Life: Black Mesa (Criticism appreciated)

Hey guys! Lurked around here a long time, mostly on the comic though, eventually made up an account in order to share the Let's Play series I'm starting. I'm only JUST starting out, so I'm still figuring out how to properly edit my videos. I've got them in YouTube MP4 format, but they still don't look as awesome as I'd like them to be. Recording with FRAPS, editing in Premiere 5. The channel I'm putting this videos on also has my Minecraft LP (of YogBox) which is more of a side project, that one updates every now and then, the major thing is Black Mesa, currently. If people like my videos, I'll move on to other games, likely RPGs or the rare shooter (like DE:HR.)

Be warned that I do tend to curse a lot. That's one thing I don't really plan on changing. I enjoy cursing, although I try not to curse just for the sake of it. I just tend to be a mouthy git.

The link to my first video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcUwQwxqDLA

(If you want to see me fail more, you should check out the Minecraft videos on my channel. You know. If you want.)

I openly welcome criticism and advice, so long as it's not just pure flak. I want my videos to be enjoyable to watch, and able to make you laugh. Don't let me down, guys. I'm putting this here instead of the Something Awful forums because people here tend to be a lot kinder and more civilized, if not as randomly funny.

Also, if I'm breaking any rules on this forum, please let me know. I'm 99% sure I'm NOT, but I could always be ignorantly missing something.

With that said, tell me what you think!

I think you should probably not curse as much, but that's just my opinion. You are rather funny though, if a bit random. You should probably also invest in a widescreen monitor at some point, as it looks like you're recording with a square, then sending it through a wide-screen filter. My knowledge of video editing is limited though, so I could be wrong.

Heh, yeah, my old widescreen died a couple weeks ago, but I figured I'd make the videos anyway until I got a better one. My biggest issue, really, is that I simply don't know what video type to export the finished project to in Premiere. There isn't a lot of help in that area, really. I'm trying to find a method that gets decent quality without being a massive 3 gigs that takes seven hours to upload on youtube.
