Being surprised is what kills you faster than anything else, isn't it? A Phantom you can see is trivial. A Phantom you only noticed because you're dead is the dangerous one. Turrets do the same thing, except they can sometimes block a path, too.
Unless you're a turian (or krogan, for different reasons) or something, the Revenant's actual DPS should be lower than the stuff it outputs. The Typhoon hits things far away.
sure, but primes still seem kind of unreasonable to me. The same is true of phantoms to some extent with their stupid fucking palmblaster, but at least they're pretty easy to kill and can't force you to move by spawning turrets and shit behind you.
I'm actually not somebody who thinks that geth are too difficult really, but they're definitely the most annoying.

hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
- Can stagger you, forcing you into cover for extended periods of time
- Can essentially create a stationary, more powerfull Assault Troopers on a nonexistent cooldown, through walls
- Can create drones that will stagger you and force you out of cover
- Their Drones will also detach from the Prime and go about on their own, meaning you have to look out for at least one of them as long as one Prime is still active PERIOD
- The Drones will also not hesitate to stagger you from halway across the map
And since clearly that's not enough to make Geth challenging:
- Geth Hunters shooting you while they're staggered
- I've also been hit by them more than once from quite sizeable distances: Maybe a new bug introduced by the Patch
- Pyros who'se flamethrowers will hurt you at twice the visible animations range
- Rocket Troopers who have a chance of ignoring their refire delay, meaning they occassionaly fire in bursts of two or three
- They can also aim and shoot at you before their turning animation is complete, meaning they will literally shoot rockets out of their asses
One thing I'd like to see is changes to Cerberus in the following form:
- Phantoms don't get DR on dodge higher than 50% anymore
- Phantoms won't ignore powers while dodging - they already have their Bubble shield for that
- Halfing their Palm laser's damage - they're effectively outclassing Nemesi
- Changing spawn patterns from 4 Phantoms to 2 Phantoms plus 2 Dragoons
- Altering Centurions to make them more unique: Marauders buff their Allies, Geth Rocket Troopers/Hunters are quite distinct from Assault Trooper Geths; Only the Centurions are nothing but armored Assault Troopers. Make them interact with their own troops somehow
- Cerberus Engineers should be smarter about staying in cover and repairing Turrets/Atlases instead of going Rambo on Players
- Same goes for Nemesi
I don't like smoke grenades because all they do is delay. Heck, if you're not a power-centric class they don't even do that, they just hinder you. And if you use an enhanced scope on your Sniper Rifle or the upcomming Thermal Scopes on your other weapons they do nothing at all.

I always get the feeling with Phantoms and their laser ptoo ptoos that when you turn away from them and run for another cover or an ammo box, their accuracy goes up to 100% no matter where they are on the map. They are almost like Mario Boos; when your back is turned away they get these magical buffs, and you wonder why they were able to do that so well? Surely the computer wouldn't pull that kind of trick.

You crazy. Power class or not, I sure as hell don't bother to blind-fire into a smoke cloud because more often than not it's just a waste of ammo. You either a) wait for the smoke to dissipate which lets them move in on your position b) rush through the smoke which puts you at risk for running into trouble or c) leave and try to find a new vantage point.
Yes, getting an enhanced scope nullifies smoke, but that's a mod attachment you're taking over increased damage, ammo capacity, or penetration. Geth-O-Vision and Quarian scan also work, but those are special buff powers meant to provide an edge.
got put intoa Cerb Jade Gold that was a 2-man wipe. Solo'd the remainder of the first wave (got like 15-18k on that one so ... idk how far in they made it), devastated the second wave and one of the original dudes dropped, too and then by the third wave the host dropped but wtf. Kroguard is so... broked. Even if we all started at the same time I don't think they would have been able to do anything but watch me wreck everything on the map.
The only time my shields dropped was when 5 cerberus guys surrounded me... wth. and that was before I realized that I didn't activate barrier yet

Kroguard's been like that for weeks and weeks and weeks, damn near since it launched
Very few people appreciate it, but it's pretty easily the most powerful class in the game - or at least the most survivable, though all krogan are good at that. The thing is that vanguards by nature score higher than other classes on big levels like Jade just because their mobility is so high. This is less pronounced on Gold because Vanguards get killed so fast on it. For the kroguard: not so.
I recall hearing before that the power damage for the Shadow wasn't supposed to affect Shadow Strike but did anyway. Does anyone know if they changed this in the patch too?
Finally passed the 2 million credit mark; ready to blow my load tomorrow (especially since I'm down to 4 medi-gels). While credit farming GWG, man it seems like 2 Demo's and a Sal Engy + Random is one of the easiest combo's to win with. Tech bursts all over the place and decoy to make all 3 objective missions a piece of cake. I think we got done yesterday in 19min. I'm sure other combos work just as well, but for all random pubs it was a cake walk.
Also sorry to anyone inviting me to games with no response. Most of the time I stay in game (minimized) when not on the computer as it takes forever to get in and out of ME3. Unfortunately it seems that even after I set Origin to 'Away' or 'Invisible' when I leave, it'll randomly put me back to 'In-Game' while I'm not on. I did find my old Natural Selection mic, so I'm no longer mute haha.

What is art? What is a fan? How many much mass effect fan art involves giant bewbs and/or butts? We may never know the answer to these questions, friend. But we can still explore the unknown together. Forever.
When Earth landed, I dropped a million credits and didn't get a single new class
Tomorrow I'm going to be dropping two million
We'll see how it goes
delete the other DLCs before you blow the cash
it'll remove that stuff from the drop pool
A fly idea, but my bandwidth for the month is nearly gone, so I have to ration it very carefully. I'm nearly maxed with most of the weapons anyway. I'm willing to bet I'll get at least one new class in those forty rares

Give him a Reegar and things get even worse.
I haven't played my Kroguard much and I've had the class since it's been available, and in my experience the Kroguard has never been able to sustain that many hits on gold. I explicitly stopped using it along with all vanguards on gold except my asari because of the bug, and only bothered with it now because they're saying the bug is fixed... so, idk. Wasn't even using any shield boosts or anything, it just straight up didn't die. In the past, it didn't feel anywhere near as sturdy as that.

A big part of survivability is always the build and the loadout. The charge boosts were all offensive, not defensive, so his survivability hasn't really changed all that much. The thing is that you're just tanky enough without a cyclonic modulator while also being very fast at killing. What were you using, the Piranha? A Reegar? That's a big part of it right there.

Krogan got a universal health/shield boost a few months back.
Barrier's DR also got a boost around the release of the first patch along with most other "armor" skills.
Basically, the Kroguard has been receiving a lot of indirect buffs that have made it from really good to really, really fucking good.
Just broke 3 million credits. Sixty or so rares; if I manage to get all of the new characters before I tap out, I may just stop and save the rest of the money for the next staggered release. I don't really care about the guns or appearence options; I've been rolling with my Scorpion II on most classes, and loving it.

on paper at least, it still does. You can see this yourself by respeccing yours, and watching the total value on shadow strike from point to point in the class talent. I'm not sure whether this is intended or not, but it isn't really a large amount of damage either way.
It might potentially be meaningful if you didn't have a powerful +melee bit of equipment and could substitute a high-level +power damage bit, though

I have saved up a half million. My strategy is to just slowly save by trying to make a profit every time I sit down to play. I could save faster if I just stopped buying packs, but eh.

It is admittedly much easier to save when you have all of the rare guns unlocked, and almost all the appearence unlocks on all the characters.
Essentially I only buy Jumbo equipment packs, and only if my Medi-Gel falls under 6.
