Has anyone tried the Law pistol with an Anarchy Gaige? It supposedly has 100% accuracy when zoomed.
I've been using a Level 15-ish Law and that is definitely not the case. It's still pretty good up to about 150 Anarchy, but after that the accuracy drops way down.
Could well be different with a better quality model though.
Just running a standard anarchy gaige (just the one point in it) seriously tanks most skull level enemies. I can't imagine what a group of 4 anarchy gaiges would be like. Not that it works atm due to anarchy stacks vanishing in mp
So after about 160ish Bunker kills, it finally drops a head skin. I wonder if the drop rate is just awful because alot of weapons get stuck in the cannon or what.
I found a way to reliably farm oranges!
Remember how mr final boss always drops an orange if you kill him in the story?
You get a buddy, you kill mr final boss, your buddy takes the orange, you exit without saving(quit game with xbox guide button or ps button),you kill him again, your buddy duplicates the gun for you, rise and repeat
I have gotten a leech and a volcano like this
It's becoming almost impossible to keep up with Playthrough 2 without doing sidequests. I haven't done any yet. I'm level 39 and managed to blaze through to Chapter 11
Wildlife Exploitaion Reserve
But the Super Badass Loader guarding the next area is level 44 or whatever and I can't get through. Meh.
Any advice? I mean, is my only option, really, to do some sidequests? I was hoping to skip all of them until level 50, but enemies give such shit EXP it seems.

if the quest isn't going to give you something you really want a lv.50 version of, than there really isn't any point in not doing the quest.
and the only things you may want are the unique items from quests, of which there is a list in the OP. So just have a look through that to see which ones to avoid doing for now.
So, I've played the entire game without seeing a chubby enemy and then I get two chubby varkids within half an hour of each other. One of them gave me my first non-quest orange too. Too bad this happened while farming kills for challenges on normal mode, so it's too low level to really be useful.
The rockets fly so fast I can't even see them and it bounces around when reloaded.
As far as I can tell, I just need about 300 point-blank shotgun kills and to find Jimmy Jenkins. Any tips for that second one, other than "be lucky"?

He popped out of a Hyperion generic chest in the Boneyard for me.
Supposedly Jenkins spawns (only?) from the squarish Hyperion ammo boxes that open into three shelves, so I've seen people recommend farming the Preserve or Opportunity and just running for some of those chests then reloading, but I've heard it takes like a solid day of doing that to have much chance, so...think I'll leave that one up to luck.
I heard the best method is when you have the side mission from Tannis in the Preserve. There are 4 boxes that always spawn a loot enemy when that quest is active, so just avoid completing and keep leaving and re-entering the game and farming those 4 chests. Couldn't verify it myself though.

I had him pop out of a cardboard box, so that theory doesn't seem to work. He just has a ridiculously low spawn rate.
Best advice I could think would be to find somewhere with a good number of boxes that you can easily run and open, probably do it on PT1 somewhere that is lower level so you can ignore the enemies.
What types of weapons are you guys using as Anarchy Gaige? Using a shotgun, sometimes I still miss point plank, and my stacks have never even gotten to 100...

Use a shotgun, and if you're playing anarchy, put 5 points into Close Enough. It gets to a point where your accuracy loss doesn't matter. I'd also suggest a shotgun with a high (greater than 10) pellet count compared to the 6 or 7 pellet count ones.
@Drez, do you have access to Opportunity just yet? For Mad-town experience without quests, do constructor runs.

High pellet count, low ammo shotguns. I try to stick to the best x15 or so shotgun I can find. If I have a pair with similar damage, I'll pick the one with a smaller magazine size.
edit: other than that, I've found getting the highest capacity shield I can and at least one rank in the shield regen on kill talent, as well as 5 points in close enough. Depending on playstyle, close enough may be optional. Specifically, if your style is to stick your shotgun up the guys nose, you may not need it. Otherwise, you probably want it.

this is the only really reliable way that i know of. have the sidequest Doctor's Orders (given by Tannis once you get to the wildlife preserve part in the story), and dont pick up the audiolog thats in the cardboard box across from a red hyperion chest in the specimen maintenace area (i think thats what its called? its the building where
bloodwing's enclosure
is, and you have to fight a super badass loader to get in.) that group of 4 cardboard boxes will always spawn 1-4 loot midgets of various kinds, as long as that side mission is active and you havent picked up that audiolog. so run through the preserve, spawncheck the boxes, save/quit, repeat until he pops.
I completed my first run on the story mode yesterday with some friends. It's amazing how much more enjoyable this game is now that there's a class in it I actually really like. The Mechromancer really turned this game around for me. I'm really enjoying how drastically different and unique feeling her different play styles are.

Awesome Congrats on your newfound love of landing borders too.
Also the Hyperion slaughterdome is some exciting shit. First time we went on round five, three of us wiped in wave four, and our gunzerker managed to survive most of the way through the finally round through sheer grit and air support from the two of us and a Res-specced siren.
We beat it pretty handily the second go. It's hard to imagine how bad it's going to be on playthrough 2 though.
Is anyone willing to help me take down terra on the ps3?,or farm oranges by airstriking the warrior?
My PSN is CuyoSentinel in case anyone is interested

A friend of mine told me last night you're supposed to open those boxes in order, from back to front. Not sure how reliable that info is though.
Ok,i took down terra by myself without a bee or conference call,is it wrong to feel like a badass since everyone says he is too easy?
Altough the sense of satisfaction i had after killing him vanished when i saw his drops
Time to farm the Bee
Are there any side quests that disappear if you avoid them in PT2?

Ok so I finally got to the point where I can get some decent gear in TVHM by farming that chest off the cliff in the beginning of Tundra Express. Which isn't terribly fun, but my guns are in pretty sour shape so I needed a few extra things.
Got an awesome sniper rifle, and of course it's Hyperion. But I'm still using it because it's one of the highest damage weapons I've seen.
Still have yet to find an orange weapon, aside from the one the final boss drops.

yea get used to that, oranges are basically nonexistent. the warrior is guaranteed to drop one of his possible oranges each time you kill him for the story quest, and theres the flame of the firehawk quest reward, but outside of that the drop rates are fucking stupid.
I got lucky then. Got Sledge's Shotgun the one and only time I killed the thing what drops it. I used the same character to farm the Texas Striker off the boss that drops it. It took maybe a dozen or less times? I don't remember but I did the same thing on an alt and nothing yet. Lots of nice epics though.

And he dropped garbage every time. We saw a single head, no oranges, and only a few purples even. Maybe one or two from each one.
I can't even imagine trying to farm him the normal way.

as a compulsive premature reloader, my DPS has gone through the roof
yeesh, that sounds pretty horrible. so basically like terra farming, only spawning the damn thing in a legit fashion is as rare as an orange.

Huh, that's not a bad idea.
I've been farming end boss in PT1 but that's getting old now.
WH is a super easy kill with Bee + CC.

My Conference Call on the other hand.
One hundred Warrior kills.
RNG = Random Number Generator right?
Back to Pandora.
The Bee dropped for me like my fifth time, and the Warrior kill that bugged my game dropped a Conference Call...that someone else picked up.
