This game was so rad. It was basically Castlevania, except your dude had a bird. You could send it out from his shoulder and open locks and attack distant enemies with it! And even better, player 2 could control the bird. How sweet is that?

    The CEO of my company just dropped by my cube because he thought my work looked interesting. He hung out for about 5 minutes to talk about what I was doing. He thought it was amazing. I demo'd and of course since I was halfway through developing a key feature, it crashed. Goddamn, why doesn't anyone send out warning emails when he is in the building!

    I had to do a presentation at a NASA facility long ago. In the middle of it Windows blue screened on me. Thankfully I was doing it in front of a group of guys who were the poster children for neckbeardy engineers. So they just told stories about fucking up demos that broke millions of dollars in equipment.
