Kingdom Hearts is kind of weird for me in that I like the game but hate certain things Tetsuya Nomura tends towards

I miss PSM. I stuck with that magazine for so many years.
i think i started with Next Gen or something, then they folded, and the publisher transferred my subscription to something else, and then that folded, and I picked PSM as the replacement. And then that folded.
No one has said SSX yet. Particularly SSX3. For shame!
I had the gamecube versions of the SSX games :V
I've always wondered how the Gamecube versions worked. In the PS2 versions, all four shoulder buttons could be used in any combination for different grabs. But the Gamecube only had three buttons on top. Did it just have fewer grabs you could do?

it's been a while and I don't remember, I'll get back to you in a second.
Been looking through my PS2 games for one that I liked that hadn't been mentioned yet, and I really liked Rogue Galaxy. Also I saw Stuntman and felt a flash of remembered rage. That fucking game. Felt so great when you did a run perfectly though.
Most other PS2 classics have either been re-released or been improved upon in their sequels. But these games either I never got to experience or the little I experienced at a friend's house left me wanting much more.
Like, I love the shit out of Burnout Paradise. Put a hundred hours into that game. But I don't think I've ever had as much fun with a videogame as I did playing Burnout 3 splitscreen at a friend's place. And as a huge fan of Spider-Man and videogames, it sucks that I never got to play what's still called the best Spidey game ever and instead had to settle for that awful PC port.
I wish there had been more than two Maximo games. The art style was a little creepy some times, but it worked so well 90% of the time, and the game controlled perfectly. The environments were incredible for the time, and the health system was super neat. Maximo started with two points of armor/health. If he took a hit, his armor fell off, and he ran around in those goofy boxer shorts. The second game introduced special boxer shorts which had different powers. And if you found armor, it added a helmet. If you found a fourth armor item, it turned your armor gold. In the first game, it only lasted 30 seconds or something mean.
I guess those two Maximo games were part of the Ghosts and Goblins series, but I never played any of the other games.

although the creepiest game on the system might possibly be Mister Mosquito, the game where you play a mosquito who drains blood from a japanese family by biting them in increasingly unlikely places

SSX1 was my first PS2 game I think they're all the best. Except for On Tour. On Tour belongs on the garbage.
But SSX3 is the most best.
Was bummed that I didn't like the demo of the new one that came out.
