I still care, I'm just so tired of correcting misconceptions and citing facts that it's approaching the point where I don't even try that route and instead I just grind my teeth resisting the urge to start smacking people on the nose with a rolled up newspaper while shouting "No!"
I slept 4 am to 11 pm. Yet it feels like I woke up in the late afternoon.
It is far more interesting to learn about long-term policy and historical trends than to bother following day-to-day politics.

This has been my policy since I watched the Phil Hartman tragedy unfold in real time. The press was completely, utterly wrong for hours and hours. It was a great illustration how they cared more about fitting the facts to a narrative than to just reporting them.
