Anyway, my friend who used to work with me recently got a new job and I was wondering of any games to play over instant messenger. I'm not talking about checkers or anything like that, I'm talking about text games we can play just messaging each other back and forth.

Hehe, thats what we've been playing ;p I guess theres not much else.
Another time a friend and I roleplayed a Superman VS Spiderman fight online, but that might not be the type of game you were thinking of.
Hmm... well that first one would be cool if we weren't both stuck in cubicles. The second one actually sounds more interesting as we are both RPG/board game dorks. Thats actually what I was more looking for.
