    I guess that might explain Mike's disappointment with Islands of Adventure. It turns out theme parks are less fun when:

    A. You don't go on rides.
    and/or
    B. You are sick.


    Still, I don't think it's fair to accuse the place of sucking when it's your body that sucks.

    Same - I was glad that for the second New Hire set they only covered Jamie's stuff and anonymous phone interviews. Much less uncomfortable.

    Kiddy Land section? Seuss Landing is the "kiddy" area, and I don't think Mike mentioned it at all. That said, it's actually pretty well themed and isn't too much different from, say, Fantasyland at Walt Disney World, besides being smaller. The carnival games are by far a minority of the things to do in the park, and it seems like you have to be willfully ignoring the park as a whole to be so stuck on them.

    The only section that I found to be straight up lame was The Lost Continent. Both the attractions there were pretty cheesy and disappointing. Even still, the theming there is good, and the Poseidon thing at least looks cool from the outside.
