I have AVG as well as Microsoft Security Essentials installed. When I went to bed last night, I ran the MSE scan, and this morning I had the following warning:
Category: Exploit
Description: This program is dangerous and exploits the computer on which it is run.
Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

I feel dumb asking this, but is this something I should continue to express concern over? I've been trying all afternoon to resolve this. I ran the MSE scan again, and the above came up again. I told it to remove the files, and the green progress bar does not seem to be making any progress. I ran a full, high-priority system scan with AVG, and it gave no errors. However, since the above appears in an AVG related folder, I'm suspect.
I wasn't sure if this belonged in H / A, or hear, but posted here due to the nature of the inquiry. If it belongs in H/A, can a mod please move it.
Thank you for your help.

I would just uninstall avg, mse is a superior piece of software overall.
Another vote for MSE. It's not perfect, but it is leaps and bounds over any other program, with the possible exception of ESET's Nod32. Maybe.
Uninstall AVG and use MSE only, never run two AV programs together like that. It's not like double wrapping your boofshooter, it's nothing like that at all.
When I get my computer back from repair (unrelated issue), I'll cancel and uninstall AVG.
