Blarg, gotta love the client glitching out. I had picked Cait and didn't know that the last-pick wanted to ADC. So I was going to trade him for Hecarim, and the Trade window never came up or did anything when the button was clicked. So I was stuck with jungle runes & smite as mid-Cait. <_<

I've said it before, there's a lot of strength in playing champions that aren't played. Helps me a lot on Karma and Xerath.
Voli has a good kit, he's just boring as all shit. Like less interesting than Sej boring.
HOW DARE YOU?! He is not boring, he EATS PEOPLE!
You're thinking of Cho'Gath. Not sure how you confused a void monster with a bear.
First, look at the avatar.
Second, what do you think his w is doing? Taking a bite out of crime?
His w does not eat them, his w bites them. Then, once they are dead, he walks away all smug, pounding his fist into his other palm. He reminds me of a cat that is all proud to be hunting, but then goes home, tail high in the air, to eat the processed food in the bowl.
Perhaps you have not read Roz's guide to unlocking Volibear's secrets. One of which is eating your opponents. with your W.
No the leashing that currently happens on Live will no longer exist, but we've found that teammates still stick around as long as they can to apply as much damage as possible before leaving for their lanes -- still helps the jungler out a ton.
Yeah, to be fair lately it's being less pulling and more a matter of 'guys, kick the shit out of it for me' so this doesn't change much other than me taking a few more hits from blue (oh and off course if you have teammates that don't get this and you're not playing a safe jungler you should go cry now).
I really want to see the stats on Hunter’s Machete. Seems like boots/pots is out on most junglers now.
"Jungle monsters now attack the nearest target rather than attempting to chase their original attacker to make their behavior more consistent"
No more leashing.
"Wraith camp gold rewards have been reduced and golem and wolf camp gold rewards have been increased to better match their respective difficulty and convenience"
I'll finally have my wraiths back.
"The golem camps monsters have increased movement speed to make them less vulnerable to kiting, especially early on by the blue side bottom lane"
I can start golems if I'm green! Awesome. Time for Yi jungle.
Well considering from how it's described it sounds like how Baron decides who to spit it means I suppose you could get a tanky top laner to stand next to it and walk away slowly taking minimal damage.
Good afternoon Renekton Bot. To answer your questions:
1) What's a "Chief Executive Officer" and what does he do? Is it the boring stuff? If so I'll keep Ryze around.
Ryze spends most of his time pursuing ancient arcane tomes and tracing strange glowing shapes in his library. I'm always outside in the practice yard, so I don't see him much.
2) I've seen a lot of movies that have corporate leaders in tense, uncomfortable meetings with overseas businessmen. Will I have to have a lot of those?
Most of my meetings end in a pentakill, so I assume you'd have a similar experience.
3) How much security will I have to cut through when I come to claim my throne?
You'd just have to come through me - I don't need guards.
4) How thick are the walls where you work? Will I be able to E through them to save time? Do you do that with spinning slash?
The walls near my desk can all easily be avoided by executing a flawless spinning slash, yes.
5) About how hardy are the interns there? I get pretty mad sometimes, and I usually let my fists to the talking. What I'm asking is, are we going to have a high turnover rate?
That would work well. The interns are well accustomed to slaughter.
6) I have a business degree from the college of coughcoughhrm. It's written right here on this sheet of looseleaf paper. Will that help at all?
All you need is your weapon. Leave that paper stuff to the mages.
7) What's the busiest day for Riot Games, and when would be the most inopportune time for me to show up and overthrow the chain of command?
Probably our bi-weekly ritual where we execute those in the tribe who have disobeyed my commands. I'm usually pretty distracted with all the head-lopping.
I really want to see the stats on Hunter’s Machete. Seems like boots/pots is out on most junglers now.
Ohhh that's going to completely change how you leash camps now.
Interesting changes I like that it's going to be less likely for an early jungler gank from a jungler at full health
I still think Lee Sin will have killer level 2 ganks. Though I'm not sure if there's anything you could do to stop that.

I kinda wonder if you'd be able to do some really silly kiting now by trading off aggro with two ranged champs since they always move towards the closest person.
But is it going to cost 475 and leave no room open for health pots? It could totally be useless. Stats would be nice.
No it currently costs 300g meaning you can start with 5 Health Potions (numbers subject to change before release).
The Hunter's Machete actually has no raw stats but instead increases your damage dealt to jungle monsters by a % and also adds bonus true damage to your basic attacks against jungle monsters.
The item then branches off into 2 upgrade paths one being Madred's Razor and the other being a new item focused more towards non-autoattack based champions called the Spirit Stone.

I don't think that word means what you think it means...
It attacks the closest champ, meaning if you try to leash blue it won't run to try and get the guy who attacked it, it will just start beating on the guy closest to it.
As other have said what will happen is people will sit around blue/red and beat on it before leaving to reduce the overall damage it does to the jungler. It will no longer be a "leash".

I really hope they've completely changed up how supports earn gold, because I'm currently kind of worried that the main thing that this jungle remake will do is allow laners to steal creep camps and spiral out of control while the jungler just builds support items. Like what's happening now, essentially, except worsened by the increased gold from camps.

Knee jerk guesses about the implications of the Machete.
-Attack speed runes will be mandatory on most junglers (because of the true dmg)
-Since the Machete gives you extra offense you'll probably focus on defensive masteries to mitigate dmg from jungle creeps.
-Holy crap does that sound strong for junglers with both AoE and Attack speed/multihit abilities. Olaf, skarner, and shyvanna jump to mind.
A lot depends on the exact numbers of the machete but attack speed sounds very strong on S3 junglers.

It's pretty much like this now though, isn't it? I don't jungle often, but tanky support junglers are all the rage, and I know there're junglers that live and die by attack speed runes (exaggerating a bit, but Nautilus springs to mind as benefiting greatly from aspeed).
Basically it's not going to have any of the qualities that gave it the name "leashing" anymore, but people will still help beat up jungle mobs and call it leashing.

i hope that the machete isn't the only new jungling item they add
it doesn't really do a lot of good for junglers who use their abilities more than their autos
It builds into Madred's or something called Spirit Stone, which is an ability-based version of Madred's.
Interesting thing about the leashing changes; pets can now tank. Sounds like Elise will benefit from that tremendously, and supposedly jungle Malzahar could clear without taking any damage until they changed some numbers.

Same with Shaco. They seem to adjust the bonus damage to minions to counter that a bit. But yeah, should see a nice boost in Elise jungle.

Run straight at their carries in the back. If they try to stop you hit your ult. Slam squishies with axes. Rape their women. Salt their lands. Drink and sing songs of valor.
Yeah but the base item is clearly far more benefit to fast AA champions, I think the worry is that just locks the viable jungle selection into attack speed runes, especially since they are saying they want the jungle to be tougher and longer so you can't gank so early.
Seems to me a better idea is make the true damage a 4 second dot, and have further hits just refresh the duration to 4 seconds. Now you get your bonus true damage from the base item but it doesn't scale with AS at all which makes it a more equal starting item for all jungles.

hrm yes clearly this makes any junglers that don't want attack speed obsolete, based on the lack of any actual numbers on it, one of which is guaranteed to be a total percent damage amp, on an item you don't actually have to buy

It could be our equivalent to that one joke pro random monobattles tournament that TB hosted for SCII pro teams to compete in.
I'd love to see what comes out when the best minds of the sport band together to find the worst possible team comps in league.

Insert smug comment about Quelling blade here.
Though that does sound cool, especially if Spirit stone is an AP focused wriggles.
