I mostly notice it when I'm chilling with E. Gadd and dicking around in the vault. There'll be like a ghost of what I'm looking at to its right. It's really off putting.
Yeesh, connecting my 3ds to the internet has been a pain in the ass. I haven't got a wireless router, and the 3ds apparently can't connect to the ad-hoc network everything else uses, or connect to the free wifi in McDonalds or whereever.
Is there any other way to get online other than getting a new router?
Yoshi's Island DS is a shadow of the original's glory. The level design is poor and uninspired, as the 20 second loop soundtrack. I suffered through the second half of the game simply to write it off my backlog. It's also mercilessly hard, especially in regards to 100%ing a level. Like, serious NES hard bullshit. I think the SNES game is one of the best games ever made but I will never touch the DS version again.

I've been having an absolute ass of a time finding that thing in any electronics store I've consulted, but if you shop around online it shouldn't take you too long to find someone who still sells them.
Alright and in this next scene all the animals have AIDS.
You know if Nintendo had a decent shared account system, where I could buy VC games on my Nintendo account and download it to both my 3DS or WiiU (shared cloud saves would be nice bonus) I would buy soooo many games. But because of their crap policies I've only bought 2 VC titles total. (and only because my wife wanted them) Has Nintendo said anything about integrating VC on the 3DS, Wii and WiiU lately?
I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.

While they may incorporate an account system eventually, I don't forsee them allowing cross-platform purchases.

Bah! Sony handles this really well with psOne classics, I can play them on my ps3, vita or psp, the only problem is most don't interest me. In my experience most psone games don't hold up very well due to the poor 3D at the time. I'd much rather be buying sprite based NES, SNES and Genesis games.

So I just got a 3DS XL to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (and probably these other great games at some point in the future). I feel like I should have a case to protect this thing so it doesn't get scratched up (I guess this is a habit I picked up with my phone and ipad) and I'm not sure what to get. What do you guys have? Should I go hard shell/ case or pouch? I was kind of hoping for a nice green hard shell that didn't increase the size too much and won't scratch up the interior. I found some $5 things online but I can't figure out if they are lined with anything soft or not. There's also the cool blue or red pouch at Club Nintendo or I found this spiffy one at Target that holds the console and have sleeves for games and has Mario on it as well.
I wish Yoshi's Island DS didn't get so much hate. I actually like it better than the SNES one (though I haven't played it that much).
Why does it get hate? This is the first I've heard of it...
It is mad fun, imo.
It is inferior to the original as a platforming game. It also unnecessarily makes getting a score of 100 difficult in later levels. The baby switching mechanic is a weak gimmick that is only ever used to either get a collectable or screw you over for those same collectables if you didn't have the clairvoyance to choose correctly. The music is a huge letdown in every regard. But worst of all, it doesn't have Poochy.
Bought Radiant Historia today. Had it on my wishlist for ages but was just wary of the price because it never got a UK release, caved in though today and got it for £40. From what everyone says about it though it sounds worth the money.

But then again, I consider Yoshi's Island to be perfect and the greatest platformer of the 16-bit gen. Which is to say of all time.

Nah you're fine. They're all pretty self-contained.
It's not bad if you can get it for cheap. But otherwise... you're better off just playing the original.
Especially if you're an ambassador.

If you mean the post game levels, then that is a huge understatement when trying to 100'd them.
Super fun game. Level grinding on previous areas is sorta required, though. Especially when you start fighting dragons...
fucking dragons... >:[
I can do that.

I downloaded the demo. Does that count?

This game needs to be out here like yesterday. I was excited before the demo. Now I can barely wait.
